Re: The Pre-SoV Workshop

I feel like if the power is going to exclude Samurai it needs a new name to make that feel more thematic and less gamey. Like IDK ‘Terror of the Honorless’ or something. Just something to convey a...

Re: The Book of Soundwave

FYI Ravage can fly in the cartoon, there's a good example in the movie, he just doesn't do it often since he's usually either sneaking around or pouncing on someone from out of Soundwave's chest.

Re: The Book of Crossbones (VOTE for Playtesting)

Brutality feels kinda overwrought for such a minor effect, but given it is such a minor effect I don’t really care. So yea from me.

Re: The Book of Ruined Battlement

Hook is the crane guy, Scrapper is a front-end loader.

The Constructicons don’t really have viable figures right now, but if they did Scrapper, Hook, and Mixmaster could all conceivably...

Re: Lobster's Public Design Workshop

You're not allowed to do any of that. Everybody places their OMs at the same time. Or you can use the D-20 option in the rulebook I guess, but I don't know anyone who does. There is no 'but then I...

Re: The Book of Glyph of Utility: Smoke Pellets

Squad figures share one turn between them, so the effect will persist between their attacks.

Re: The Book of Crossbones (Breathing Period)

Sorry I wasn't clear there, I was talking about protecting him (and his ability to double attack) by doing regular screening stuff, not the human shield power. As in: even though his double attack...

Re: The Book of Crossbones (Breathing Period)

Wasn't aware this was a thing until just now, but anyway:

Just going to chime in to say that the Brutality power is irrelevant from a competitive perspective no matter how it ends up working...

Re: OHS Season 34 - Welcome to the Jungle - Round 3 until 11

Well, I won without a single wound on my team (first time that's ever happened for me) thanks to dumb luck. Deathwalkers were just rolling straight fire on their attack dice and defense dice.

Re: Astro's Custom Units [Update 11/7/19: Seishin and Masha]

I'd probably go with one of the first two bullet points I guess. Hard for me to judge, since I thought he was fine as is personally.

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop

Spoil sport. I've updated to their 'real' but far less good name.

Oh yeah, I actually meant for them to be 1/1s, I think the 2/2 was just a left over from whatever write-up I grabbed to start...

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

To clarify, I have no issue with 'not a Unique Hero' mechanically. Wouldn't be opposed to it if it was somewhere it made thematic sense. But it completely lacks theme in this case to me, so that's...

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

I'd personally like to see the restriction on Shadow Shift be like Drow or figures that follow Utgar or something themey. 'Common figure' could work since you could at least squint and see some theme...

Re: C3G Strategy Article Discussion Thread

Depends on the map/other army/etc. but I'd say the Punisher version is typically better. That's still pretty solid though. For Merlyin you'd probably want to add in some turn efficiency somewhere...

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop

Just porting this over from Discord, with a slight edit that stops mind control cheese on your end and gives a slight mind control counter play for you to do.

Re: C3G Strategy Article Discussion Thread

Yes, 'Bus Lantern' is just what I call John Stewart builds where you just haul Punisher + Cap + Bane (or whatever) up somewhere with him and then slap people.

Re: C3G Strategy Article Discussion Thread

Honestly the meta has shifted around a lot (and I haven’t been in a tourney in like 3 years) so I’m not 100 percent sure what the A ranked builds would be.

Bus Lantern J Stew plus some boosters or...
