Re: HeroScape is coming back!
I was thinking the same thing when I saw the stuff listed on Amazon. They do put in small text at the bottom of one of the preview images that the figures come unpainted, but I can imagine hardly...

Re: HeroScape is coming back!
A bit of a roller coaster of emotions. I've been lurking reading the news for a good while, so this is a bit of an opinion dump.
I'll say I've been part of the group that was stuck on painted...

Re: Insight into why Heroscape was dropped
So the conclusion still shows the only feasible way for HS to ever get going again is if a smaller company manages to pick it up and produce it at higher cost(for us, at least). And these potential...

Re: Ebay "deal of the day"...
I have several empty boxes from most of the expansions. Thought about listing them, but can't bring myself to do it.[/quote]
I wonder how much they'd go for. My mother made me rip up and throw...

Re: Ebay "deal of the day"...
Agreed, though there is one guy selling waves for about $34 each with buy it nows, which is a very good deal. Especially compared to the people selling waves for $250.

Re: E3 2011!
Well there is CoD WaW on Wii at least. No idea how good/bad it is though, as I never played it.(Don't play CoD games regardless)

Re: E3 2011!
I agree about Nintendo at the moment. I'm pretty tired of gimmicks and casual games. Aside from a few Wii-exclusive games like Pokemon Battle Revolution, Brawl, and a very few others, I never even...

Re: So let's say HeroScape returns one day
I definitely agree, they're still great and much better than nothing, just the reasons for the base change and such still don't agree with me. I don't see how that's much entitlement though.
I...

Re: So let's say HeroScape returns one day
I am aware of that, and I have been here to watch the game's progress, good and bad, since around Wave 5's release. I know it had been in a decline for a good while, but I'm just saying how the D&D...

Re: So let's say HeroScape returns one day
I agree, that's why I said I think the site has a bit too much faith in an FLGS-centered market scheme.
And that's a good point, I never thought about how complex it might look from the box(or...

Re: So let's say HeroScape returns one day
I was only upset at the reasoning; for their supposedly being so many other threads, when I've never seen anyone try to discuss either where the marketing went wrong nor what, if it did come back,...

To whoever the person it was, yes this has obviously been discussed before, but no thread I've seen on here has ever discussed it either in it's entirety or focused...

So let's say HeroScape returns one day
(ITT: wall of text)
Regardless of publisher; though yes different publishers could affect this, so let's leave it open to any likely possibility.
If this game came back, do you think they'd get...

Re: Organize between sets
I have 12 ROtV, 2 SotM, and 1 D&D MS, plus many expansions. I keep the tiles seperated by type in various large bins, but otherwise don't keep track of tiles from each set at all. If you ever want to...

Re: Heroscape tables
Haha, I wish I had that many tiles.
Well, if you've got floorspace, you've got tablespace!
I'm thinking of making the table have multiple levels too so I can just build the next map in the...
