Re: What Board Game Are You Currently Playing?

I love the look of Comanauts, GB. Elsewhere, Scapemage asked about things to look for at PAX. That is the game I'd be most interested to check out, for sure.

Re: C3V/SoV Question Dump

That is amazing for prepainted metal minis. I look forward to seeing what you do with them. I suggest you don't delay, because that supply could dry up.

Though if your design is good enough, you...

Re: C3V/SoV Question Dump

Submit to the SoV?

I love to see the work of the customs creators on this site. And I'm not an SoV judge, who gets to decide whether to review a candidate, though I do get a vote (or two) later in...

Re: Scape value dropping?

It is strange to think that I have thousands of dollars worth of toys in my house.

Re: C3V/SoV Question Dump

We still haven't gone to metal minis. I don't anticipate we would do that soon.

. . . but nothing is stopping you from designing units from whatever home world your heart desires. Isadora, Grut, Earth, Mars, Betelgeuse, whatever.

Re: What Board Game Are You Currently Playing?

I know our own bunjee will be running the Restoration Games booth. I haven’t played Fireball Island but I’ve seen it and it looks great on the table. I don’t know what else they’ll be showing.

Re: C3V/SoV Question Dump

Good examples of minis for the C3V are the ones we've used.

The judges can speak for themselves about mini numbers for the SoV, and a review of discussions on that point occur from time to time...

Re: Flash_19's Maps: New Map 11/7/18!

It looks like a map I would choose for a tournament, and I agree with rednax that the ladders are a nice change. I also like the mixture of both columns and trees as LoS blockers; often it's one or...

Re: Annapolis, MD area?

This is unfortunate timing. I've been running quarterly Heroscape tournaments since late 2010 in & around Annapolis, and just two weeks ago I turned over the reins for the fall tournament to...

Yup. Providence is nicely situation for a New England event, too. There's a link in my signature box about how to run your first tournament. It's not hard, and if you give it a shot, then you'll be...

Re: What Board Game Are You Currently Playing?

Thanks to Elstree , for showing me how to play 7 Wonders after Gurei-Ornery 's excellent Heroscape tournament. We had a full 7-player game, in which I came in last. And, I hesitate to brag, it wasn't...

There are lots more choices for those...
