About a month beforehand is the earliest they will put an event on the calendar for us. I think you could tell them the day before and they will be OK with it if the time is open.

I'm going to be taking a break from HS for a while so I won't be coming to or planning the biweekly games.
I should be able to do Saturdays occasionally, but every other day is not going to work...

No, it's not legit. The space you describe is not part of the map. Overhangs are allowed, but nothing completely inaccessible by regular movement.
