For what it's worth, I finally figures this one out - when access Heroscapers through the secure server (https:// rather than http://), YouTube embeds don't show up. Mystery solved!

Hmm, nope, doesn't work in Firefox, IE, or Chrome. Maybe a firewall thing? But I can't imagine why that would have an effect.

Not sure if this has just been me this whole time but - do the embedded YouTube videos not show up for anyone else? Regardless of theme, and I have my adblock disabled so it's not that either. SEE...

Holy crap, this thread bump made me realize that the site redesign was SIX YEARS ago. Most of you guys probably don't even remember what it looked like beforehand... wow, time flies.

I'm fairly certain that was intentionally, though I specifically don't recall why. Something about them blending in with the rest of the post.
