Yes, the card does say unique. I figured I'd check as Uncommon Heroes are played as Uniques in most aspects.

What the heck are you talking about?
Did you not read the words on the card? "Flying" means "over" obstacles, to include not just trees, but battlements, columns, piles of terrain with road...
