Right at the beginning, if you look to the left you can see a platform with a breakable lantern. Did you ever figure out how to get to it? I could never jump there, even with Grant. I suppose Alucard...

The entire castlevania DS series is excellent. Portrait of Ruin is probably my favorite, but it was the one I played first. Echlesia is the longest by far, but it just doesn't have the same classic...
