Re: Storage 'Strategies'

Since I've just gotten a whole bunch more figures, I decided it was finally time to get proper storage, and I figured I may as well post it here.
Everythings organized by General, with Utgar getting...

Re: RIW Hobbies, Livonia/Detroit Michigan.

That's a lucky find, the only Heroscape I know of in the entirety of Melbourne Australia is Good Games in the city, and that's just BftU and FotA, it'd be interesting to find out what the missing 2%...

Re: The Book of Warforged Soldiers

They could be decent as cleanup I guess, with that auto shield, but really at least 3 squads are needed to be effective. Backed by Raelin, these guys are very tough to take down.

...

Re: Possible HS video game...

Definitely, but the only major things that would need to be done to make it passable would be making the player able to spawn hex tiles that snap in place, and some place holder Heroscape models....

Re: Possible HS video game...

I tried out the Blackguards demo today, good, but not quite Heroscape (not without mods anyway :P) more like hex based Dragon Age, still good though.

I'd definitely like to see your work Wanderer,...

Re: Alternate Game Modes

Most of my variant ideas seem to come from video games, cause I just thought of how to adapt the 'Push the Cart' mode from Team Fortress 2

Maps with roads stretching throughout them could have a...

Re: Shopping in Australia

A user on the forums, you can look at their trade thread on the trade forums, though I have scooped up a bunch of the stuff listed :P

Alternate Game Modes

I just played two games on the same map, one regular deathmatch, another with a 'domination' style.

It was played with 3 areas that had to be held, and at the end of each round, whoever help an...

Re: Auggies Games...now selling Heroscape singles and Squads

If that was the case, my next order would definitely be from Auggies. They have some scape stuff I need, bits and pieces, but unfortunately not as much of the customs as other have, but if there was...

Re: Auggies Games...now selling Heroscape singles and Squads

Just a passing thought Andrew, what would you think about semi-collaborating with the C3V custom figures community and adding their waves to your Heroscape list with links to the appropriate...

Re: The Book of Manauvi

Alright, so the wording and effect is the same, but for both it is a little vague. I would have assumed that was the case anyway, it wouldn't make sense thematically otherwise.

Re: Shopping in Australia

Thanks for the advice, I'm actually in the process of getting a pretty large ammount of classic from The CEE from here, and I've been looking at Miniature Market, which seems like the best bet for...

Re: The Book of Manauvi

Just a clarification, his ability says 'he must be able to move adjacent' not that 'he must end his movement adjacent'. Is that intentional, if so what was the reasoning on that

Re: Competitive Unit Congress

I'd love to test, but none of my friends are as interested in scape as me, if at all, so 'extensive' testing isn't an option as opposed to casual games every month or so

Re: Ranged Units

The partial cover rules definitely seem worth testing, but the friendly fire part might be a little overkill.

2 extra defence for some objects is quite a lot, but then again, ranged units have a...

I noticed in the Public Miniature Information Thread there are figures posted back in 2012 that don't have custom cards for them yet, is it because they're still in development, or have some been...

That's fair enough, though is CUC still being worked on? I noticed that the votes for Arcolah were due in July, was that July 2013?

It also seems like the list of unviable units is almost...

Re: Ranged Units

I've got single squads of some of the more competitive units on the way, and I plan on using substitutes to play with more of the same squads, so i'm a little closer to the meta now.

Having said...

Re: Competitive Unit Congress

This seems like a great idea, but has it been suggested that this and the delta/delta+ point system be combined to form a unified community balancing initiative?

I just like the idea of a...
