I use paper cut outs for banners and place them...

I use paper cut outs for banners and place them over the other plastic flag. I am going to try to cut off the plastic flag to leave just the poles.

I was going to paint them gray, and then I thought it works well with the snow tiles. They are cheap enough to get more and paint them to go with the castle parts.
