Re: Main event armies
How about this then:
Anubians x5 (375, 15 spaces)
Khosumet (450, 16 spaces)
Dumetef x2 (500, 20 spaces)
For 75, just add another squad of Anubians. 100 and 140 will be a little more tricky....

Re: Power Rankings - Another Scaper's Opinion
I don't know if I would agree that the to Major Qs are the best heroes. I think Q9 is the best, Nilf is the second best, and I would make an argument that Kaemon ranks higher than Cyprien because of...

Re: 750 pt Army
The idea wasn't so much to tie them to Kiova, but to give a special aura on the battlefield, so that they could stay alive until engaging the enemy. In that army, I would literally just put the first...

Re: 750 pt Army
At 750, I would really want to try:
Einar Imperium x4
Empress Kiova
Atlaga
Isamu
Atlaga gives Kiova a boost so that she can jump far out onto the map. The EI then use that large defensive...

Re: "XXX Point Army" thread compilation
This is great work. Keep it up! I will definitely reference this often myself. Although, is there a way to change the title? "XXX" can have certain connotations...

Re: Wave Nine: What does it all mean?
I agree with you on most points really. I do wonder how much of a hinderance the climb issue will be for them. I haven't played on a single tournament map that had a ledge the Dwarves couldn't climb,...

Re: Wave Nine: What does it all mean?
I have to throw in that at a 600 point tournament a while back, Nadom went 5-0 before losing in the championship match with an army that consisted of 590 points worth of elf wizards and Otonashi. I...

Re: Capuan Gladiators - what's your army idea?
Yeah dok, in this case, I don't see how you make a better 500 point army with these guys. You could extend the build to 600 points to include all gladiator heroes with three Capun Gladiators and of...

Re: help with 500 point army
Actually, one of Ne-Gok-Sa's strength is that he draws fire from your opponents. If he is out front, then the simple fear of losing a character will make them spend time attacking him. While they are...

Re: Wave Nine: What does it all mean?
To go back to the origins of this thread, I definitely think that we all can agree that whether we like like hodgepodge or themed units, we can agree that wave nine contributes more to the themed...

Re: help with 500 point army
It will take a bit of strategy to be competitive with it, but if you want to play with four really fun units, try:
Raelin
Krav Maga
Q9 (I know this is not so original so far, but wait for the...

Re: Wave Nine: What does it all mean?
I realize some of my posts have come across a little too whiney lately, so let me apologize for that. I think that to an extent I am on the same page as many of you quite a bit, but I have just had a...

Re: Wave Nine: What does it all mean?
That actually emphasizes the point I was trying to make. Within each subgroup, there is actually a lot of diversity. Again, take the Samurai as example. I can easily make several 500 point armies...

Re: Wave Nine: What does it all mean?
To reword the earlier two cents I threw in, having played other strategy games, from CMGs to RTSs, I am of the opinion that a free agents are not what this game needs. Since common squads came out,...
