Re: The Book of Crossbones (Public Playtesting)
It was a minor power, with a minor effect, representing him being a bully to those weaker than himself. Great concept for a 'thug' like evil henchmen. Not a ton of peeps weaker than a regular human...

Re: The HoSS Cantina
I never have to pre-buy tickets where I live. Only time I've pre-bought tickets is when I go see a movie at the IMAX in Madison or Minneapolis, and I'm not doing that for Skywalker. Figure I'll...

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
I managed to see the first 4 episodes at a friends house. Pretty happy with what I've seen of the show. Only thing that kind of bothers me is their failure to actual give him a cool name. Mando is...

Re: The Book of Ruined Battlement
I must admit, I never play with the Battlement DO rules so it wouldn't be something I would lead the charge on, but Mixmaster (who is a cement mixer) seems like your best theme justification for it...

Re: The Holocron of 2-1B
In HoSS, we ruled that Soulborgs and droids are the same for synergy purposes, which is why you see Soulborgs listed in the synergy webs where droids are found. HoSS also introduced it's own...

Re: Lobster's Public Design Workshop
Not sure how I feel about that OM comparison idea. Concerned it would lead to weird pre-initiative roll situations where all players are looking to see how many OM he has on his card and adjusting...

Re: The Book of Crossbones (Initial Playtesting)
I though we had worked it out so that Green Lanterns with power batteries on their card would have an attack higher than 3 and not be effected. We were just cutting out the stat boosters that were...

Re: The Book of Crossbones (Initial Playtesting)
I'm okay with it being more of an automatic thing for human shield, it's why I mentioned lowering the roll when you said he wasn't winning any matches at 150. It should be a key note power of his. ...

Re: The Book of Crossbones (Initial Playtesting)
Yeah, him getting subbed into a Hydra build in place of Madam Hydra makes sense if their is a popular Hydra build people are already using with her in it. I'm not sure what the Hydra builds look...

Thanks for posting that Superfrog, I'm buying a bunch of figures to use in my DND games for cheap now. Started looking at the other discount items and saw this guy.

Re: The Book of Crossbones (Initial Playtesting)
I don't think he's better then Hawkeye (150 & 160 w/a jet cycle) or Black Widow (170). Those are the types of heroes he faces and loses to, other non-powered but highly skilled humans. 150-170 seems...

Re: What Board Game Are You Currently Playing?
My character doesn't make any of the group decisions, I'm just some added muscle for the fights really and add some flavor/humor during the role playing sections by doing non-consequential antics. I...

Re: What Board Game Are You Currently Playing?
A group of 4 of us started up a new DND 5th edition campaign a few months ago (I'm the DM, and I'm running a Half-Orc Monk as a member of the group). Spent most of Black Friday playing that and...

Re: The Book of Crossbones (Initial Playtesting)
I don't know why you are obsessing over the 3rd most important power on a 3 power card. Soundwarp made a pretty detailed break down of the cards competitive highlights and the other two powers are...
