Re: Premature PreMarch PreRelease D&D Expansion Discussion

For the new heroes... I would think that covering the remaining races and classes from the PHB would be a priority.

Races Covered: Human, Dwarf, Eladrin
Races Needed: Elf, Half-Elf, Halfling,...

Soulborgs are pure high tech, human minds and souls implanted into machine bodies.

Warforged are pure magic, minds and souls created FROM SCRATCH into a semi-organic body which is powered and...

Re: Jandar's ninja Kumiko Discussion

-ko is a common feminine suffix for a name in Japan.

It's like -a in the western world.

Paul, Don and Shaun are masculine
Paula, Donna and Shauna are feminine.

The "child" meaning has...

Choosing sculpts for a squad

Real odd one here.

When you take a squad, are you required to take the "standard" set of figs for it, or can you take any set of figs equal to the squad number?

For instance... Stinger Denial....

Re: Some Action in the Faction Section

Random comments from a latecomer.
If you need a faction name that includes the monks with the samurai, you could always go for Martial Arts and Crafts :D

Ninja can definately be added in with...

Re: First Map Attempt - Halo 3

As I said, inspired by an older thread where someone put up that Halo map as a request/challenge.
Plus it is one of my favorite maps when I play Halo 3 online.

First Map Attempt - Halo 3

So yeah, inspired by this thread: http://www.heroscapers.com/community/showthread.php?t=23183

I decided to give Halo 3's Valhalla a shot in VirtualScape.
This is my first shot at making a map. I...

Re: Wave 9: Blackmoon's Seige, Announced!!!

Are you insane?

3 auto skulls is mathematically 6 attack dice, but realistically better because of the consistency. There are a LOT of figs that can't defend against 3 skulls.

Tor-Kul-Na has 2...

Re: Wave 9: Blackmoon's Seige, Announced!!!

Less marro than what? Wave 8? If they did that, then, there would only be about 1-2 marro figures in the wave! Marro to me are the archvillains in Heroscape. Hasbro/WotC created a look for aliens...

Re: Wave 9: Blackmoon's Seige, Announced!!!

"OMG Pirates, with water powers! Woo!"

Silliest concept ever. Historically, the vast majority of sailors (pirates and otherwise) COULD NOT SWIM.

Re: Wave 9: Blackmoon's Seige, Announced!!!

What's so great about vikings, minutemen, werewolves, dragons, robots, zombies and everything else in Scape?

Because they are iconic. (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RuleOfCool)

Re: Wave 9: Blackmoon's Seige, Announced!!!

Nice analysis, but there could be heroes and a squad packaged together, which is how they'd probably do a 4-man squad. (Lawmen and Samurai, anyone?)[/QUOTE]
Lawmen and Samurai as well as Gladiators...

Re: Wave 9: Blackmoon's Seige, Announced!!!

Dwarves... so many ways to go with Dwarves.

If they're Good Old D&D Axe and Hammer dwarves... they're Ullar's. They will be slow, but make an absolutely brutal melee screen. Perhaps Cowards...

Re: Wave 9: Blackmoon's Seige, Announced!!!

Repulsors = Soulborgs.

Dividers makes me think "Divide and Conquer".

Maybe a squad with good attack (4?) and ghost walk/disengage.

They could ghost past all your defenses and assassinate...

Re: A tourney noob?!! GASP! Everybody RUN!

Don't knock MS1, a lot of top notch figs are in it.
Raelin, Krav Maga Agents and Marro Warriors are all A and A+ ranked.

That's the core of a decent army right there, really. Raelin enhances the...
