Re: Sports: NFL

Imagine being Mahomes, coming back from injury and throwing a freaking jump pass TD, and you don't get the highlight of the week.

Re: Sports: NFL

Vick started 115 games despite losing two seasons in the very prime of his career to suspension. He only lost significant time to injuries once before his 30s. If I were a Ravens fan and I could...

Re: Opinions on a 500 Point Army

The classic version of this army uses Kaemon instead of Krug. It's an extremely strong army.

Re: OHS Season 34 - Welcome to the Jungle - Round 2 until 11

I pulled out the win vs. BB. He unfortunately forgot that Boreos can't move Raelin, and Quahon pulled off some particularly brutal lightning breaths to take her out and wound Boreos and Talingul. ...

Re: The Book of Marutuk

I feel like we should have a mega thread with re-basing best practices. You can see my contribution in the Quahon book.

Re: OHS Season 34 - Welcome to the Jungle - Round 1 until 10

Kinseth and I played last night. The game featured a couple hilarious swings of luck involving the treasure:

Kinseth's J15 picking up a treasure while next to two of his spearmen, discovering...

Re: Corvor the Tainted One Public Playtesting

Yeah I thought Corvor was fine. If anything you could add a point of life? 2 defense is good though.

Re: C3V/SoV-inclusive Power Rankings

Abduct is indeed in line with those abilities. Boreos does similar things much less expensively, though, and bonds.

Brontos is definitely a swiss army figure. He's nice for bringing along...

Re: 2019 C3V Playtest Tournament (Quarterfinals until 10/27)

Just finished my much-delayed game with flameslayer. Due to my reading of threads instead of PMs, we played with the 4 defense, 4 move version of the acolytes.

The first round went to flameslayer...

Re: C3V/SoV-inclusive Power Rankings

My thoughts. I want to note, first, that the power rankings are implicitly tuned towards an unrestricted meta. This means that we are forced to compare units to how they do in an event that has the...

Re: 10 Points Under - Heroscape Casting Videos

Re: 550 Point Armies

In practice getting the repulsors in place and shooting with the snipers is notoriously difficult to pull off. Well, unless you're using Omegacron...

Re: Unit Strategy Review: How to use the Zombies of Morindan

Since we're talking about a squad figure average damage is irrelevant. All that matters is the chance of getting a kill.

So, onslaught gives a 90.6% chance of getting the kill. Each individual...

Re: 2019 C3V Playtest Tournament (Round 4 until 10/13)

Dysole got the win. Early on my Mohicans couldn't hit on any attacks against the runners. I did kill a Sentinel but that really didn't do me much good other than to get it away from me. By...

Re: 2019 C3V Playtest Tournament (Round 4 until 10/13)

Dysole and I should be going in 45 minutes or so. I have Dysole's Mohicans; Dysole has the Wildwoods.

With the disclaimer that I, too, am old, I also agree. I am theoretically on the discord but it's just too disorganized for me to contribute. The Facebook...

Re: Alternate Sculpts

Didn't someone do a full repaint of the knights of Weston in Hawthorne style? That would make a great alternative card for Knights of Blackgaard.

Re: Alternate Sculpts

This is not really correct. We are in discussions about starting card creation on alternative sculpts. D_S is just a bit impatient. ;) That's fine, though: always good to get feedback from the...
