Do you buy complete master sets or do you just buy single figures/items. A lot of my collection are waves/squads NIB. Terrain sets are complete. Do you buy them this way?

What do you consider reasonable? I am doing some research because I have never sold these items. Some I paid what seemed to be reasonable and others that were quite high.
