Re: Interactive Terrain Brainstorming thread

Oh god why.

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

Imagine some one submitter mole peoplel from earth, advanced mecharmor from feyland or an elf engineer from alpha prime. Those would feel off with established cannon. Adding these hunters to an...

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

I really like the WULFING HUNTERS and would vote up but those are humans in masks or they are evolved cuebones. Either way I don't see them on grut with the wolves and orc.

No to the planet. Up...

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

I have to retract my review. I had written out a card and placed it in my playtest box a while ago (printer was out of ink and it was a simple card)

I had reversed the move and range values which...

Re: Suggestions for the C3V

[/QUOTE]

I picked up a set a while ago for a great price.

You can't do much better for prepainted minis to fill out a sci fi faction.

Re: Pandemic Tales

I'll bite.

While I did Thanksgiving a month ago since we Canadians celebrate in October, I did go downtown Toronto a few days before they hit lockdown for a second time.

My kid loves trains so...

Re: The Pre-SoV Workshop

Oh Man, this is an exciting squad. They look cool on the battlefield and 2/2 is awesome. Swarm armies are great.

I don't have many notes beyond what was mentioned, but Scorpions move quick when...

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

I love me some Unique Squads, and while I don't care for Dwarves Gandalf seems to think you could always use more, and Who am I to argue.

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

3D printing is becoming more and more viable.

However, there is a thin line between the 3D printed and just going for a Reaper Bones mini, or the Unpainted line that D&D has going for it. I would...

I think i'm mentally ready to play again, but my time is dedicated by the virulence of COVID 19. Sadly until more people observe public health recommendations, I will be tied up.

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

I struggled with my my own bias against non-western fantasy. My instinct told me this faction was too weird. Of course this is foolish as if the shoe was on the other foot Cyclops, Unicorns and...

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

I'm in this camp. It is a displacer beast to those who play D&D (okay It has 4/4 not 6/2 Tentacles and legs).

This treads really close to the Guy in Robes with a Laser Sword - That's a Jedi,...

Re: The Pre-SoV Workshop

Good catch. To be more explicit 12 'turns' per round make Azazal too likely to return. I believe this is compounded with being able to move Lawmen and there high range and ablility to spread out.
