Re: Summoner Wars by Plaid Hat Games
Just skimmed the rules. It looks like the custom deck construction has more flexibility. Some of the event cards have different times in the turn sequence you play them. Also the placement of...

Re: Patent No. US D536,391
But what about the patent. Registering the trademark wouldn't stop anyone from making the terrain to sell on its own. They just couldn't use the trademark.

Re: What Board Game Are You Currently Playing?
My daughter (9) has been expressing an interest in board games. With my coaching obligations, we don't often get to play board games. She did the typical board game design of a child her age (ie a...

Re: Patent No. US D536,391
My google law degree says that anyone can make use of the patent without permission. If I understand correctly (and IANAL), anyone can make and sell the patented item.

Re: Sports: NFL
I literally watch zero NFL every year (the joys of being the only sports fan in the house). Knowing nothing other than seeing the rare headline now and then, I had this figured as a duel of the ages...

Re: Books: What are you currently reading?
I love Dune. I'm not sure there is enough for a series, unless you bring in stuff from other books. There just isn't that much that can happen on screen. That said, there is a lot of complexity, and...

Re: What Video Game are you Currently Playing?
In my perpetual late to the party fashion, I recently started playing Minecraft (notice the missing "again"). It has always been single player games, but I'm itching to try multiplayer. After 7 hours...

Re: Books: What are you currently reading?
I read the first 5 (or was it 4) of the Incarnations of Immortality. I might have missed the Nature one. I liked On a Pale Horse best of the ones I read. That's about all I remember. How does it hold...

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
*cough* Protomolecule *cough*
Jokes aside, I love the show and books. I hope they find a way to get the last 3 books adapted. I can't wait for the last book to come out. The way book 8 ended was...

Re: Books: What are you currently reading?
Just finished Rhythm of War, Book 4 of the Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson. It really brings what is happening in the Cosmere into focus, more so than any of the other books. And what...

It's been on Hulu for a while. My wife has been going through the series for a while. Finished the main series and on season 2 or 3 of Atlantis.

Jim was the man. I never got the chance to meet in person, but he has been a great influence on the community, and a wonderful human being. Like Rev, the world would be a better place if everyone was...

Re: Weight Training
Or at the other end of the spectrum is to use straps. I'm not going to compete, so I just use straps. A lot of Olympic lifters regularly use straps in their training, so I figure why not.

Re: Weight Training
I like heavy farmer walks for grip (and everything else). I imagine if you watch Athlean-X, you might already be thinking of that. Or you could go hook grip if you really want to be hard core.

Assuming sincerity: Sale is a noun, and sell is a verb. When you sell something, it is for sale.

Re: Storage ideas
A lot of it is going to depend on how much stuff you have, and how you want to organize it.
The storage bricks are great if you want to keep everything together by sets.
That system didn't fit...
