Re: Storage of old sets? (Without original box)

With the tiles getting more and more brittle, I think that perhaps a wooden solution could be made. Same size, thickness...has anybody tried? My tiles are doing ok but that's because I'm not using...

Re: Tips or help on warped 24 hex terrain

You might try hitting the tile with a hot blow dryer until it's flexible, and then place it under weight. Might be worth a try, but do so at your own risk.

I see that photobucket's curse has affected this thread as well. Any plans on moving these pics to another imaging service?

Re: Hex preservation

The terrain is going to be the Achilles Heel of Scape and will only get worse with time. It's just the nature of the plastic. I was thinking perhaps some kind of plastic safe lubricant could be...

Re: Brittle landtiles, 2017

For those that wanted to know, they're stored in plastic bins (the Sterilite ones from Walmart, stacked rolling tower) and maps aren't out longer than a 24 hour period. Basement, and the only heat...

Brittle landtiles, 2017

So I cracked another 7 hexer the other day, and wondering why certain landtiles seem to like to crack more than others. It's plastic, it ages, I get that, but the DnD tiles seem not only much more...

Re: Storage of old sets? (Without original box)

I think the plastic getting brittle is something that we're going to have more and more of as the sets get older. You have to be very careful disassembling the maps...lately, much more so than the...

Re: Peeling base stickers?

Hmmm, I guess I'm an isolated case?

I've looked over most of my waves and adhesive indeed seems to be giving out on some figures, but nothing really extreme. Some (very few) have the sticker...

Peeling base stickers?

Happy 2017, everybody! That's the good news. The next news, well...

The holiday season being the time when I get to bust out the Scape en masse, I've noticed something that I wanted to ask the...

Re: How were Heroscape figures painted?

I can't imagine the soul-crushing drudgery it would take to be cog on that painting assembly chain. Really.

Re: Inconsistent Unit Prices?

I guess I'll have to check out what the selling prices are for some sealed boosters. I actually have some stuff for sale, like Wave 2 heroes (sealed) and some odds and ends from the first two boxed...

Re: Inconsistent Unit Prices?

Capuan Gladiators are expensive now?...egad, don't overpay for those shelfwarmers. I can't explain that. Once upon a time those guys could be had for next to nothing in comparison to other...

Re: How were Heroscape figures painted?

I always wondered too.

Considering the price of oil and the tumble it's currently taking, I always thought it was said that higher plastic prices lead to the end of big plastic games like HS (and...

Re: Documentary about Heroscape

I could see a doc about the rise of board games in general over the last 15 or so years, but to have it focus on Heroscape doesn't' seem like it would draw the most interest. It would be a great...

Re: Your REPUTATION and You (Pt.2)

I was going to make a post about how much I dislike the concept of rep, especially neg rep, and suggest it be replaced with just 'like' buttons for posts we, well, like.

Then I saw a lion wearing...

Re: Wow! Forgot how fun this was after 5 years

I hear you on the completist bug, I did the same thing a couple years before the game was discontinued officially. This board was directly responsible for that :) when you see the amazing setups...

Re: Quick Apology

For some reason I thought that I wasn't able to view my neg reps, but since it's built into the user CP screen, I did get to see the negs...and positives, that, like I have already stated and believe...

Re: Quick Apology

You know, this is just another example of how fragile and butt-hurt people get around here over things that really are insignificant. Here's a guy that wrote an article for the entertainment and use...

Re: How do I Find AA?

Scalping is somehow not scalping if the scalper has been around a few years? Do you sell these sets for profit? Through an actual company? Then that's not scalping, even though I think your costs...

Re: The HSers Budget
