I agree, I think Airborne Elite may be one of the few that are consistently good for whacking hives. You can mention other units, but their use will normally be conditional. Best army for the job.

I see them as the equivolent of a pocket-sized multitool. Lot you can do with them for the amount it costs. Can be helpful in many different situations.
