Re: Public Design Workshop

I like an SA here, even if it gets tweaked a bit.

Not too worried about Jackie being more powerful (Definitely using Jackie. I don't care who we have as the Angelus host, could just leave blank...

Re: Public Design Workshop

Looking much better to me! Curious about a theme question since it's been a while since I've read Darkness, does she have any actual power over light? Jackie can make constructs out of darkness, so...

Re: Public Design Workshop

Not a huge fan of Purge the Darkness here, since super counterdrafty stuff means I probably won't draft her in normal games. I don't mind a bonus against certain figures, but the Darkness callout and...

Re: Public Design Workshop

I could definitely help you out with the Angelus. I have the start of some ideas for her. As for The Darkness I love to see what you where thinking in terms of abilities as well, I feel like The...

Re: Public Design Workshop

Just so you know I'm planning on running the Darkness. He was supposed to make the Indy wave but I ran out of time.

Though if you're a Darkness fan I'd be interested in a write-up for Angelus,...

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Hawkmen of Thanagar

These guys have always been fun. An all-hawk army was super viable at the beginning. Haven't played them in a while to know if that's still true.

Re: The Book of Matt Murdock - VOTE for Release!

I think you're right on the "this" should be removed. I'd have to check other civilian characters to see how they've been handled, but even if they DID have the "this," my preference would be to...

Re: The Book of Matt Murdock - Final Editing

For some reason I always forget that Daredevil has powers. No idea why. It's obvious, but I always have in my head that he's just super skilled, like Batman.

Pre-Yea for release!

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Atom

He's nearly always been useful when I play him. But I'm not trying to analyze his use when I've used him so I couldn't tell you an assumed usefulness to cost ratio.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Atom

He's a tiedown figure that you can drop along with your own figures. It's really handy to have if you have 50 extra points. You don't ever need to take a turn with him for him to be useful, unlike...

Re: C3G Faction Strategy Guides

Young Justice Faction Strategy

Overview
Young Justice is unique in that it's actually a "sub-faction" in the greater Titans faction. This gives you huge flexibility in army builds, as you can...

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Black Adam

Been a LONG time since I've played him. For some reason his and Capt Marvel's powers just never stick in my head. I have to triple read their cards a million times while running them, so I think...

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Jewel

This guy gets it. Moon Knight isn't overpowered, he just has the auto-wound darts than not many Fighters have. Jewel doesn't add anything to the table like others can. She's still a solid block of...

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Jewel

Spider-Man is one of my all-time favorite figures in C3G.

Jewel is pretty lame. Her stats are fine but she's boring and I almost always just use Moon Knight instead.

Re: Public Design Workshop

I shot Ryan Ottley a message on Instagram to see if he'd respond, but no luck. He's too big a celebrity to look at messages from nobodies like me.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Luke Cage

Yeah, same. I reused the power on Brit who can strap a nuke to his back and be fine, but a defense whiff means he's dead.
It DOES add some tension yet rather then them always be annoying...

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Luke Cage

I've definitely played him in games where he never uses his terrain power, and he's still plenty good.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Luke Cage

Solid leader for a solid faction. The Crime Fighters/Fighters have some of the best selection of iconic characters in my opinion, too. So many good options.

The only thing I don't like is that I'm...

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Iron Fist

Monster attack for his cost with options, and can heal Luke Cage who's already a pain to take down. Good stuff.

Maybe not the most exciting figure, but he's very effective in Cage builds.

Re: The Book of Wonder Girl (Cassandra) (Young Justice)

Thanks! Is "triggering" an official term we use? Otherwise maybe... "You may only roll for this power once per movement for each Sidekick and Titan you control."

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Captain America (Steve Rogers)

Still a staple, and all beginner C3Ger's should try him out. He can easily pull together any batch of figures into a decent army.
