Lightbulb Frostscape

Frostgrave game design + Heroscape tiles + minor conversion to Frostgrave rules to fit in with heroscape tiles = Frostscape.

Frostgrave. Hoo-boy, what a great skirmish game full of narrative...

Re: Combating Nissa's Range and her Elf's

Be sure to utilize terrain that blocks Los until the elves can become engaged. They only have about three turns of popup attacks that they can use before the enemy closes in on them and they run out...

Re: Dignan's Maps - New Map 9/7

I recently played a couple 600 pt. Arena games on the grutsbane pass map. I liked it a lot. It was a good balance between low $ cost / visual appeal / complexity of movement. I pretty much only play...

Re: Craig Van Ness Leaves Hasbro

My guess at the reason why the base set was clearanced was because of the SKU issue that stores have. They hate multiples, so carrying one core at a time may be the reason. At least that's my...

Re: Kaladesh rumor mill

That's good art for Nissa.

I always wonder how they translate green into arena. Since they deal so strongly with mana generation.

Re: Kaladesh rumor mill

I'm guessing equipment is a likely bet. They would tie in well as enchantments since that's what they act like in the CCG, effectively.

I can't imagine not getting artifacts. That would be weird...

Re: The Book of Necro-Alchemist

Ahh I see. The distrust was directed elsewhere.

I used to be one of those people who placed a lot of coin on my own opinion regarding rules.
Since I no longer care enough about such things to the...

Hi XNFM,

I have a bit of experience building maps for Arena out of heroscape tiles.

Here are a selection of maps I made for Arena...

Re: Index of 3D Printed Stl Files

Thanks, that should do it I think.

I have a friend in france who is a whiz at this, and getting him to build what I need on top of that blank hex is going to be a lot easier than trying to...

Re: Sir Heroscape's custom terrain

The palisades are actually pole abatis.

I like them a lot. I think I'll be using my spare two hexes for this. But I also agree that a 50% chance of injuring is too much. Somewhere between 16%...

One quick question about "RttFF Tree Base Single"

Assuming it is exactly as the name says, is the surface flat to attach the tree too?

I want to use this piece to create custom stuff attached...

Re: The Book of Ghoul Vanguard

Well if nothing else, it shows the importance of keeping that actual model for the zombie, because its state as a zombie on the table, or in the figure graveyard could be important. Potentially at...

Re: AotP Question Dump

We tried using 18 and 24 card decks in 100 point intervals. (400 and 500 points respectively)

It doesn't really change the dynamic, it just lengthens the game. 24 cards was just way too much (we...

Re: Heroscape 2.0 MTG Arena

For example, since the inclusion of of dual colored...

Re: AotP Question Dump

Colorless cards are not all colors, they are exactly what it says on the tin; colorless.

So, for example,...

Re: The Book of Trail of Evidence

I would say that is precisely the intent to put it on a creature that you basically designate as a glyph hunter.

Imagine this on a lantern geist. You can not only recycle the geist, but your...

You can summon up to two squads per turn, this should...
