Re: Project Pokemon Trainer Cards: Gary
I would say that team would not get the bonus becase there are only 5 types present. Also, whether or not they are alive would not change them being in your army. If you started with the bonus from...

Re: Project Pokemon Trainer Cards: Gary
Ideas for Gary:
Team Versatility
If your army consists of at least six different pokemon types, all evolved figures in your army roll one extra attack die.
Brutal Workout
After taking a turn...

Re: Project Pokemon Trainer Cards: Cool Trainer ♀
I think Engage the Enemy is a good way to capture the aggressive style of Ace Trainers. I like it. I don't really have an opinion on the items because I have not really looked into those but they are...

Re: Project Pokemon Design Thread: VENUSAUR!
Dang, I really liked how Venusaur is turning out. End of semester hit me like a ton of bricks and I didn't get a chance to submit a design but I really like the current Venusaur. This energy marker...

Re: Project Pokemon Trainer Cards: Cool Trainer ♀
I would say that if there is a non gym leader trainer to give a stat boost to their pokemon it would be Ace Trainers. As the Camper has an initiative boost I would say that the Ace Trainer should...

Re: Project Pokemon Design Thread: HAUNTER!
Why is he still weak to ground? Levitate (built into ghost form) makes him immune, should probably make that an immunity right?
Other than that looks like everything turned out pretty good.

Re: Project Pokemon Trainer Cards: Super Nerd
Originally I had it just canceling out the Weakness die reduction but I think it actually is cooler for it to cancel out and give a bonus as your option 2 does.
The Juggler looks good. I think I...

Re: Project Pokemon Trainer Cards: Super Nerd
Super Nerd
Calculated Advantage
Anytime you roll the twenty sided die you may add one to your roll. Whenever your opponent rolls the twenty sided die, you may subtract 1 from their roll.

Re: Project Pokemon Design Thread: HAUNTER!
I think Haunter should have the Hypnosis/Dream Eater combo, while Gengar should have Shadow Ball/Destiny Bond. Shadow Sneak is a physical move and you wouldn't really have it on either of these two...

Re: Project Pokemon Design Thread: Kadabra!
Recover is the move you are thinking of. Double team seems cool but I agree that it should be saved for something else. Other possible moves for Kadabra: Reflect/Light Screen, Kinesis, Disable.

Re: Project Pokemon Design Thread: Primeape!
Don't worry I have been watching the discussion closely. I like Whiteknight's wording changes except I would like to keep Primeape's ability to hit with a dark type move.
In pokemon, learning...

Re: Project Pokemon Design Thread: Primeape!
Oops, I didnt see the 'you may' was crossed out. I think uncrossing that out would fix it. As for height, if the bonus move is not enough to get Primeape within range of the rage marker'd figure, he...

Re: Project Pokemon Design Thread: Primeape!
I think option A makes him a crowd clearing tank, while option B makes him more maneuverable and strategic. I think there are many other pokemon that we could slap the powers from option A onto so we...

Re: Project Pokemon Trainer Cards: Juggler
A Quick Switch power is what I was thinking of as well. I like the idea of switch order markers. Mine was a bit different and involved switching the positions of two of your pokemon on the field...
