Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)

I definitely want some way to incorporate the “Oops! I got turned into the wrong alien!” premise, since that was such a big deal in the show.

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop

Yeah, it might make sense to limit it like this;

That makes sense narratively if maybe not logically. The BBC special effects budget can only afford so many regenerations per game, you know? :p

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop

Yeah, the idea is that if they choose to regenerate/explode, it affects everyone.

Weirdly enough, I just realized you could round a bunch of these guys up in a pod and set them off like a giant...

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop

You gotta keep watching. :p

But yeah, these could definitely work for the Time War-era Time Lords.

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop

New Series regenerations can be pretty destructive. When Eleven regenerated after getting his new cycle, he took out a whole Dalek fleet with the energy he expelled. There's a common theory that this...

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)

For sure. I almost wonder if some of the transformation stuff could be handled with a marker like the Beastiamoprh Markers that goes over the stat box. Lots of cool potential for art stuff there.

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop

Some Discord discussion yesterday got me thinking about what a Time Lord faction could look like. Definitely putting some thought into a leader unit that mirrors Zod and another recent design, but I...

It started when an alien device did what it did...*

Re: The Book of Apollo

We have a few different ways we’ve used to describe it before. (I’ve also seen “take damage.”) I think receive is our preferred consistent method though.

Re: Public Design Workshop

One idea we talked about for Overwatch synergy was doing it based on all characters having different classes, kinda Star-Lord style. That might get rougher when you run into the fact they’ve...

Re: Public Design Workshop

That thing we haven’t told the public about yet? :p But yeah, probably, I was planning to DM Eric about it if he runs this design.

Re: Public Design Workshop

Why 5 life? Our standard for humans is usually 4. I liked the version of Auto Destruct we brainstormed that included blowing up Androids.

We probably need to clarify the timing of the unblockable...

Re: Public Design Workshop

How does something like this look? I think that would make him a little more viable while also smoothing out the classic Carnage issue where he's way better against commons than everything else.

Re: Public Design Workshop

I’ve always really loved the idea of using the combat dice to represent Red, White, and Blue thematically. I think the blank option feels a bit finnicky though - is there much of a need for a very...
