I can't see how 'scientists' could retain their bonus if Annihilus loses his. Annihilius is the one who made the rod, he should know how to wield it better than anybody. :2cents:

It was done to try and give him a bit of 'oomph' to get the glyph back if it was lost and taken by someone else. Hahma suggested it...
