Re: Card IDs
In the C3G Index and in the "Book of..." threads, they are labeled as "Iron Man (Mark I)", "Iron Man (Hulkbuster)", etc. But on the actual card, they all say "Iron Man - Tony Stark".

Re: Card IDs
Sorry, I don't think I was very clear. I'm fully onboard with a logo or marking per creator, as well as a version number or date of some sort. The thing I was talking about was labeling different...

Re: Card IDs
Great idea! I'm on board :)
The only issue I have when it comes to my personal cards is your last point. As I rework my cards, I'm making them follow the C3G standard, which is using the same name...

Re: The Book of Thor
Neither, really. Just stating my own opinion and understanding, and hoping it helped provide some clarity. :)
Exactly. Based on that, I'll revise and simplify what I wrote earlier:
LOS,...

Re: The Book of Thor
Yeah, you're right. I should've written that to say it only needs to specify if it violates the general rule. While I don't think it would necessarily hurt to be explicit all the times, card space...

Re: The Book of Thor
I think the confusion is that, at least based on what I was saying, the power doesn't always need to specify either way. Only when it breaks the general rule. Otherwise, it is assumed that the...

Re: The Book of Thor
Also keep in mind that what I listed is my understanding of how this works, and I'm not making an official statement on the part of C3G and how they do it. I wanted to make that clear, since this...

Re: The Book of Thor
LOS - a figure is never in LOS of itself, so LOS powers do not need to specify that it doesn't affect that figure. It does need to specify when it *does* affect that figure, since that's breaking the...

Re: C3G Books of Index
About how long does it take for updates to show up in the Sortable Spreadsheet and the Card Printer website?

Re: The Book of Knockback Optional Rules
Sorry for not clarifying. Personally, I wouldn't count the wording in Flying as "explicit", because it doesn't refer to an official phase of a game turn. "When counting spaces" is something ambiguous...

Re: The Book of Knockback Optional Rules
Well, those explicitly say they're triggered by action on another figure's turn. For example, "When an opponent's figure attacks X with a normal attack...". But for powers that don't explicitly say...

Re: The Book of Knockback Optional Rules
I guess where I get caught up is not so much specifically about knockback or even flying, but just the idea that you can use special powers on your card when it isn't that figure's turn. Is there...

Re: The Book of Knockback Optional Rules
Okay, I can see where you're coming from. But what about Phantom Walk? It also doesn't say "instead of his normal move", it just says "can move through all figures". So would you think that when a...

Re: The Book of Knockback Optional Rules
Well, I think the assumption is that special powers only have effect when they're being used, which is usually only during that figure's turn. Exceptions being special powers that explicitly state...

Re: The Book of Knockback Optional Rules
Do you have a source on that? As far as I could find, flying figures do not take falling damage while they are able to use Flying.

Well the rulebook says this (this is from...

Re: The Book of Knockback Optional Rules
I've never played such that flying figures don't take falling damage (except for those special powers that explicitly say so). In terms of theme for knockback, comics show flying figures getting...
