Re: Heroscape 2.0 and Halloween: On Gaming Moral Sensibiliti

Skywhale,

Don't recall. But "Colored" may refer to the tint of the minis in their General color, as I mentioned. Which is not the same thing as "Painted."

Re: Heroscape 2.0 and Halloween: On Gaming Moral Sensibiliti

Since its been mentioned that the new cards will have photos of their minis that are not painted--but in the color of their General I expect, like the minis--there will in effect be no "Official"...

Heroscape 2.0 and Halloween: On Gaming Moral Sensibilities

ONCE UPON A TIME, Many, Many Moons Ago at one of his early game convention talks, I asked a nice fellow about my own age named Dave Arneson how they handled Morality in Dungeons and Dragons. He said...

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!

;) I'm not sure how comparable former Haslab campaigns, which concentrated mostly on a few toys, will be in the offering format and price for Heroscape, which seems to have such a wide variety of...

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!

Interesting--I haven't seen the show yet. But I'd say that in the Silmarillion in general, the stories tend to be about more powerful beings. Who die off over the ages, or leave for The West. ...

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!

Yikes! Lots of nasty stuff! Where's the comedy relief?

Is every character going to be an amped up berserker from now on?

I may have to rely on the cute, funny animals. Except that they're...

Re: Kickstarter: What game(s) are you currently Kickstarting

After hours of research, backed Dune: War For Arrakis during the final stretch of the week long campaign. By CMON, with IP from GF9, and designers from Ares from War of the Ring. With only 32...

Re: Sherman Davies' Marvel customs - Sif

Yikes! Marvel has a Moslem superheroine now, right? (Or is that DC?) Will they meet each other?

Wednesday's Game Cancelled!

I have to cancel the game, and I think this is the first time I ever had to do it. But I'm having some health stuff going on that won't be over by then. Hopefully...

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!

Just saw the sketches of the overgrown building ruins. I enjoyed the fact that one youtube poster compared them to old illustration drawings for Edgar Rice Burroughs Martian novel ruins, as an old...

Quozl:

Hey, Age of Annihilation Merch for sure! I still have my old white GenCon Scape Tee, but Taeblewalker's wore out years ago. Got to get him a new one.

Especially with all the great...

Craig,

We haven't met, but Jeff was here to Scape with a bunch of us back before the Pandemic, and have us play a prototype of Shifting Realms. If you are ever in NYC, come play Age of...

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!

I'm surprised, unless they feel that Valkrill is now covered by the Customs they are not going to deal with. Continuing with Heroscape which seems to be the theme of Age of Annihilation should mean...

Re: The New York City Gang Of Four

;) I've made some changes to my Vydar army for balance on Wednesday. I can also report that its total has gone up from 585 to 590. It does use all Vydar units.

Re: Sherman Davies' Comic Maps - Arkham Asylum

I think we've played on more than half of these in our monthly games. To read narratives of these games, hit my signature line (which SD set up for me).

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!

Cool; hadn't seen that. Since the image is skeletonic, I was thinking "Revanant," as in the Eddic dead prophetess Odin brings back to life.

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!
