Re: The Beginner's Guide to Heroscape Resources

Seems accurate to me, the site was pretty bustling by the time I joined in 2007.

Re: The Beginner's Guide to Heroscape Resources

This should prove to be a helpful resource for many, well done! Small correction, though:

I believe there were two other online Heroscape communities before Heroscapers came along. I wasn't...

Re: Sherman Davies' Comic Maps - Subways

You mean playtest? That's funny, considering I've been designing these maps with aesthetics in mind more than game balance, but yeah - I suppose the symmetry of the subway maps would lend themselves...

Re: The Book of Gorillitroopers

Thanks JaB, transcript is fixed.

Seems like there never was, or it got lost somehow. I've notified the C3V Art Department.

Re: Sherman Davies' Comic Maps - Subways

Thanks. Yeah, I'm envisioning scenarios in which the trains arrive in or pass through the station at the end of predetermined rounds and inflict damage on figures on the tracks. Could make for some...

Re: Sherman Davies' Comic Maps - Subways

I made a couple of new maps inspired by the NYC subway system, another setting that's a staple of Marvel comics:

Re: Avengers 2012 Movie - 10th Anniversary - Scenario

Nice pics, I like the idea of using road tiles as "sidewalks" for the city blocks.

Re: Your REPUTATION and You (Pt.2)

Personally, from one C3V co-founder to another, I'm glad to see you're still hanging around even if you don't post as much anymore.

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

Thanks wriggz, that's about the nicest thing I think anyone can say about a Heroscape custom.

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

Thanks. In that case, I'd like to pull the previous submission and resubmit Nordlung for SoV consideration.

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

Since it looks like this version of Nordlung is likely to fail largely due to the personality, which I am fine with changing, may I ask what the usual protocol is in a situation like this? Is it to...

Re: The Book of the Batmobile

For those looking for a Batmobile properly scaled to Heroclix/Heroscape figures, your best bet is a line of die cast replicas made by Eaglemoss.

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion

I just wanted to point out that as far as Nordlung's survivability goes, 4 Def/4 Life is pretty comparable to other dragons in his weight class, with Mimring and Othkurik at 3 Def/5 Life and...

Re: How do you play ladders?

To be honest, I initially thought the answer to F might be two, but then I caught myself when I realized that if going from the rock space to the ladder rung cost 1 movement, so would the reverse.

Re: How do you play ladders?

A) 2
B) 1
C) 1 (This is the only answer I'm somewhat iffy on, but I would fall back on the common sense argument that a figure could fall off a space and ignore a ladder if they chose to.)
D) 1...

Re: Sherman Davies' Marvel customs

Re: Sherman Davies' Comic Maps - Tower of London

Re: Words are Fun

My personal mnemonic device for distinguishing between the two has always been to think of the latter as ANT-omology.
