Re: The Sparkletorium
This is pretty much the most well-planned universe of custom units ever. I dig. Especially the pirates.
As a sidenote; I don't think you need to add 5 to Gnash's point cost. He doesn't bond, is...

Re: Mythscape Greece
If it ends up not being generals, I'd say city-states. Although that does complicate god cards. Still, its something to think about.

Whoever ends up doing the Egyptian line better give Hathor some kind of beer power.

Re: Mathscape: The Raelin Effect
IMO, anyone who thinks Raelin doesn't cost enough hasn't fought her enough. I can't count the amount of times I've crushed an opponent who had Raelin. No unit is unbeatable, no opponent cannot be...

Re: The Book of Moriko
But these are the problems. These are the EXACT reasons she gets hate. Think about it:
Right, but she costs as much as Evar, Brunak, the AE, and a few other good cleaners. And for ten points...

Re: Hunger Games Customs
While working on them, it actually occurred to me that, given the similarities between my ideas and his system, it would be ten times easier to just use his rules. I've used it before and its...

Re: Hunger Games Customs
hm. well basing a battlefield off of the first arena is a bit tricky, as it would be hard to map it all out. the third quarter quell might be a bit easier to attempt
Agreed. Although we...

Re: Hunger Games Customs
idk if custom terrain is necessary, but maybe just have a look for the arena before the game starts, and then the gamemaker, rather than building the board over the course of the game, changes it....

Re: Hunger Games Customs
The way I have it set up now accounts for that; only one weapon may be held at a time, but you can drop them and pick others up, etc. Actual treasure glyphs already in the game would be scattered...

Re: Discussion: Why Did Heroscape Fail?
Or an RPG-type game, where you decide which General you want to follow. Then you could fight in battles and such, playing anything from a 10th Reg to a Venoc. I think that'd be really fun.;)
...

Re: Hunger Games Customs
I'm for limiting it to the first book; makes it easier to keep track of what's what. We should have a list of who goes into in the first wave, though.

Re: The Book of Tandros Kreel
Lately I've been using a Tandros/Rhogar combo. You send them out mid-game with a marker on Rhogar and two on Tandros; works like a charm, especially against annoying bonding armies.

Actually, with Syvarris, I'd favor Ana or Rhogar. You either need protection or autonomy.

Re: Kelda or Ana
Personally, I actually think Rhogar is more practical in straight-up combat, as he's the most stable (stat-wise) of all healers. And in the situation you describe, I think I actually would go with...
