Re: Q-Lok's Map Thread!

True that. I think that the "soft renders" that VS often uses make maps look more appealing, but LandScape renders are just ugly.

Re: Q-Lok's Map Thread!

Yes, the road split was intentional. That map was a prototype for an alternate play style in which one player is trying to make it all the way across a long, narrow map while the other tries to stop...

Q-Lok's Map Thread!

This should probably have been written a long, long time ago, but I'm lazy so it gets done now instead.

My best work isn't going to be here for some time yet, since I have a Mac and can't seem to...

Re: The Long Road Home -- variant rules and play style

No, I really do understand the similarities, and in all fairness it is somewhat hypocritical of me to design the scenario rules the way I have given how I feel about the merging of D&D and HS.

Re: The Long Road Home -- variant rules and play style

What do you mean not "having that flavor?" A small band of Heroes fighting their way through an army of minions, monsters, and robbers... sounds exactly like the kind of mode for Heroes of 'Scape...

Re: The Long Road Home -- variant rules and play style

Goodness, that would be fantastic! I don't really see this as having that flavor, but I can see why it would work well with that ruleset. So by all means, drop a link; get some attention out there....

Re: The Long Road Home -- variant rules and play style

Satan's soiled codpiece, that was a lot of work! I took most of the afternoon and evening on it, but about an hour ago I finally finished that monster of a map. *passes out*

And hot dang, I got...

The Long Road Home -- variant rules and play style

I'm not entirely sure this doesn't belong in the Maps & Scenarios forum, but I figure it's enough of a shift from the normal rules to go here. I've been working on an alternative way to play...

Re: Heroscape Random Map Creator

I doubt this would mesh well with the style of build I tend to end up with, but it's still a fantastic idea. Kudos!

Re: Malechi's Alternate Round Maker Tracks

I know this whole idea is old news, but I had an idea somewhat similar but that could take up less room. Along the same lines as GrungeBob's idea, (and this is assuming you have the spare tiles...

Ah, bugger. I feel really bad about backing out on you guys at the last minute, but I have a ton of work that needs to get done over the weekend, and I literally have no other time that it can get...

Re: Utah soundoff

Planning on being there, though I'll need an address. However, there is a slim-but-nonzero chance that I'll have too much homework/family responsibilities to make it. Also, I won't be able to get...

Hot-cha! There actually *are* people in this state that play!

I'm at college through the week and have work on Saturdays, but I get off at 2:00 and sometimes have the means to make it as far as...

Re: Virtualscape help

Okay, thank you, but I don't need to know that I have an NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX card. What I need to know is why OpenGL is having so many issues despite the fact that I already know that it's...

What is your video card? It may not even support open GL.

Beg your pardon, folks. I'm a new member of the site, but I've been following both Heroscape and Heroscapers.com for some time now.

Anyhow, on to my actual question:
I know this has already been...
