Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Green Lantern (John Stewart)

Very solid GL. He's got great stats and the shield strike is brutal against melee armies. Green Basket Carry is borderline useless in GL armies, but it allows John to be the centerpiece of pods....

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender public workshop

Making Team Avatar into a sidekick thing makes a lot of sense.

Reading Improvised Plan again, I struggle to see my theme for it. I like the idea of simplifying down to what you suggest....

Re: Godzilla and friends

The wind does feel off to me for Mothra, as I associate that more with Rodan. I think you could get similar mechanics from a wing dust power though.

She’s definitely a tough one design-wise, as...

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Green Lantern (Guy Gardner)

I really like Guy. Willful Overextend gives him consistent offensive punch, though it (along with his lower defense) makes him a bit of a glass cannon. Definitely one of the stronger GLs and his...

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Green Construct (Mech Warrior)

The Green Construct Shields are really good, and the Decoys can be handy. The others I just haven’t found a good use for.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Green Construct (Mech Warrior)

I’ve never had much luck with the Mech Warrior. Seems overpriced for how fragile it is. And while 2 attacks of 4 are useful for a GL who has expanded several of its battery markers, generally...

Re: Godzilla and friends

Thought of a cool idea if we ever do a 1000 point Kong for Godzilla VS Kong matchups. This would let Kong uproot trees and smash Godzilla with them for 10-15 dice.

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender public workshop

One idea I had is to group Team Avatar around a single power that gives them synergy with each other and Aang. Each of the Gaang feels like they'd have a different class and personality, so there's...

With Aang in the process, I figured we might as well make an Avatar workshop. Feel free to post your ideas here.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion (Punisher)

Punisher didn’t have the best armies full of Vigilante synergies, but including Robin (Damian) in with attack boosters was a solid combo.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion (Punisher)

One of the C3G staples to be aware of competitively, especially before his re-evaluation. Pair Punisher with an attack booster (like Captain America) and take advantage of his powerful Assault Rifle...

Re: C3G Amalgam Comics Workshop

Normally I’d agree, but this is a wacky idea and so I give more leeway in what’s acceptable because of that. You already have to use three cards to figure out how the one merged card plays, I’d...

Re: C3G Amalgam Comics Workshop

I think averaging all the stats is fine. You’ll just need to mark a piece of paper with the Amalgam’s stats at the start of the game.

I agree with LV that an Event Card is probably the best way to...

Re: C3G Faction Strategy Guides - Orange Lanterns!

Good catch! I must have been thinking Sayd was 300 when I made those.

Swapping out 2 Controllers for a Stolen Identity is reasonable, it totally depends on what you’re facing. You have enough...

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)

DBZ is definitely something I’d love to jump full steam into. There are some prepainted figures available (called DBZ Gashapon Full Color on eBay), but they’re like $30 for a set of 8-10 figures....

Orange Lanterns Faction Strategy

Overview
The Orange Lantern faction relies upon Larfleeze to lead an army of Orange Constructs. Keeping Larfleeze alive to keep his constructs alive is the most...

Pretty cool design. Sadistic Drive is awesome.

I'd let Oxygen Destroyer Ray affect anyone or power it up somehow. Against most huge guys including Godzilla, unless your only option is a ranged...

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)

Scrooge is pretty funny.

Collecting the dragon balls is often a plot point in Dragon Ball, and Bulma is usually the one doing it, so it felt right for that to be the defining feature of her...
