Re: What Board Game Are You Currently Playing?
You don`t get points for resources.
You could have the whole gold mine at the end of the game and get 0 points for it. In the midst of the game, you get points for building Huts and buying cards...

Re: What Board Game Are You Currently Playing?
Yup, Stone Age is a great game, I just got it. I have played it with 2 players, 3 players and 4 players and it's amazing with any number.
Ascension is great if you like deck building with some...

It really is doable if both players play at a decent pace.[/QUOTE]
Of course it's doable...
Anyway, I think we need to go the banning route. It's been done before and it's not the best way to...

Re: The Slow Win
I don't think anyone is stalling on purpose. Sure, there are some thinkers in Toronto, but no way we 'pretend' to think for the win. I actually play fairly fast, I am usually waiting for my opponent...

Re: Competitive Heroscape is not dominated by A+
People like DA are the reason why I brought Rats and Stingers to a tournament. I can safely say I could of won any of the tournaments I attended with other units. It took me about 3-4 tournaments to...

Blah, Blah, Blah, my name is DA.
Reader; Just pour your hot coffee into your eyes instead of reading his posts.
Last tournament, Sharwin Wildborne took out an entire Stinger + Rat + Raelin +...

When me and my friends just had RotV, SotM and Raknar's Vision, Ne-Gok-Sa was my lucky character and not even because of Mind Shackle, it was because he was almost impossible to kill for some reason....

Re: Ten Tips to Take down Tourneys
Yeah, #5 might be the only one I do not agree with entirely. Coming a little early to help set up some maps/chat with some people is not a bad thing. TD's need all the help they can get, they would...

Re: Happy Birthday to Heroscapers! The Big 5!
Gotta love it.
I wish I got into the game a lot earlier then I did, I guess it's better late then never.
Even though I have only been around for over a year, I appreciate this site as much as...

Nice thread, can't believe this was not made before.

Re: The Slow Win
I see no flaws with this scoring system, the last one was a bit iffy, but this one sounds perfect. The only thing it really promotes is aggressive play, which would result in quicker games with all...

You know, I actually play fairly quickly, it's just that my overall strategy is slow (in tournaments anyway). Last tournament I spent 3 order markers to keep my Stingers protected (2 on rats, 1 on...

Yeah, I was going to say, I never really planned on having Isamu in my army, but I think he is perfect for this. Make a very aggressive army and leave Isamu in the back, you'll probably get at least...

Re: Question Dump: Post Your Questions Here.
I don't think there will another Codex. I have talked to Atmostpro in person and he wasn't too excited about making another, I think the D&D killed it for him. It's a shame though, he did a very a...
