Re: Wii U

Wait, they eschewed the "casual" element in favor of making it like an iPad?
How am I supposed to play No More Heroes now?!
Wait.
If it has pressure sensitivity of 512 levels or above I'm getting...

Re: Casting rare figures?

Technically no, as making the figure period even for personal use is on shakey ground.

If you don't want to just buy a real one best you can do, legally, is paint one of your figures with the...

Re: Heroscape tables

Haha, I wish I had that many tiles.

Well, if you've got floorspace, you've got tablespace!
I'm thinking of making the table have multiple levels too so I can just build the next map in the...

Show me yours!

I currently have one made of flat rate boxes, but I want to build a set of interlocking hex stools that make a table.

Here's...

Re: Herocrepe

To use alternative skills/interaction skills and make it so you can roll for these things and add modifiers and such. Also such that your hero may grow throughout the campaign.

Re: Casting rare figures?

I doubt Hasbro would take kindly to that violation of their intellectual propety. The figs are copyrighted, making a copy for personal use is sketchy enough; making them to sell is a blatant...

Re: Herocrepe

If you want I'll make a hex crepe map and make it the cover page.

@the person asking for the concept:
Isn't... the point that you make your own campaign...?
The first post says the first...

Re: What Video Game are you Currently Playing?

Zettai Hero Project: Darkdeath Evilman vs. Unlosing Ranger.
Just started. I stopped playing to take a nap and browse Heroscapers, aha. I am also playing Patapon and Radiant Historia AND Little...

Herocrepe

A RPG system for Heroscape that isn't just jump-into-it-and-go like Heroes of 'Scape (though I play that thing too!)
It should be easy to learn because it's basically a card creation system plus...

Casting rare figures?

Would it be possible for one of you who has waves 2-7 to cast them and sell them for less than it would be normally? Dude, the rare figures are more expensive than a Reaper miniature.
I wouldn't...

Re: Heroscape Video Game

Wouldn't that just exclude you from making commercial things?
If you made an open source Heroscape game with not even a creative commons, you'd be entitled to, just as there are lots of Mega Man...

Some sort of mossy rock.

Some sort of mossy rock just as the title says. I first cut out a cardboard base then taped bits of cardboard onto it standing up, then a small curved "roof". After that I put some sculpting putty on...

Re: Using "X" mark as an Instant Activation

I was thinking of a system that uses a "Wild" marker and an X for the pen and paper tabletop miniature RPG freakish amalgamation using Heroscape I call Herocrepe.
The deal is that you assign one...

Re: Sculpting Miniatures

The thing is, "Frankensteining" with all the parts you need won't help you make any progress in the field of sculpting.
I, for one, started with edits and customs rather than splices when it came to...

Re: Sculpting Miniatures

The thing about Procreate is that while I do enjoy working with it, it's a bit sticky without being sticky, and you're only allowed to work with it for 2 hours in room temperature at a 50/50 ratio!

Re: What Board Game Are You Currently Playing?

The only board games I play are Heroscape and Eat Poop You Cat.

Because the latter is free, and I spend too much on Heroscape already.

Sculpting Miniatures

Not quite sure if this goes here or in "Other Miniatures" but as this is unrelated to games in particular, I'd like to ask for advice on sculpting miniatures and show you guys the (terrible) stuff...

Re: CA-SoCal Heroscapers

I live on the border between the OC and LA County. I can't really attest to my ability to make Heroscape a fun time as I've only just started again, but I wouldn't mind hosting some Heroscape at any...
