Re: Laser Cut Hexes....

Thanks to the Codex for providing the visibility for this thread.

Chachi - both the custom hexes and the custom base maps are awesome. I'll keep following this thread to see how things progress....

Re: The Book of Omegacron

Looks like a great unit. Would love to see a cowboy hero that had posse abilities for the cowboys similar to Omegacron's mobilization and directed fire abilities.

Re: C3V miniatures (with pictures!)

Unique squad - that's nice. Haven't had that in many waves. It'll be interesting to see where the C3V team takes them. The most competitive unique squads are still those from the original master set....

Re: C3V miniatures (with pictures!)

quozl added pictures of units from the Strielitz Kolossus Unit Box on the first post. Can anyone describe the contents of the unit box? Is it safe to assume that there are 6 figures per unit box, so...

Hi Raudulfr,
This little helper is reading... Have been completely swamped. But I do have all of D3 at home, ready to be photographed. Now all I have to do is get back home, which will happen...

Re: North Carolina Scapers

I'd stick with the mantra that uncommon are treated exactly like unique in every way except that you can have multiple cards. So, from a draft perspective, they'd be treated exactly like uniques.

Re: North Carolina Scapers

Could give the 1080 pt pool a try. But I don't think it would be quite the same experience. Drafting amongst 2 cohesive 540 point armies would lead to a strategy to try to maintain as much...

Re: North Carolina Scapers

Wow, get overloaded with work, turn your back on heroscapers, and the sky falls. My last few posts were done without awareness that WOTC declared ceasing with Heroscape! I didn't understand...

Re: Petition to save Heroscape

Best chance is for the rights to be sold to another company. It seems that small runs of reprints could be successful, eliminating development costs.

Obviously, you can add my name to the...

Re: North Carolina Scapers

I had posted some links to the draft pool idea, but above is a quote from one of the links fully explaining the concept.

One piece of strategy on building your pool is to keep within a rather...

Re: North Carolina Scapers

That's a great point xraine! In my selfish mind, I was just thinking it would be fun to have things mixed up a bit. I have an almost complete collection, though. For those who don't, a draft pool...

What would you think of mixing...

Re: Strategic Maneuvers Tips and Tricks: Leashing

As nyys says, this is a nice codification of a gut strategy. I like it. The one thing that I'd argue tho - I think Q9 is susceptible to leashing. He has multi-attack. But he's also high defense and...

Re: Three spaced Figures

If rules and maps were worked out, it would still have negative affects on play. I'd have to assume the 3 hex figures would also be gargantuan. People knock over ruins, trees, glaciers, rock...

Re: If you could change one rule, what would it be?

It always makes me laugh when a flying figure gets a road bonus by walking. I understand this compromise takes away the benefits of flying (ignore elevations, avoid engagement, etc). But there aren't...
