Anyone with a 360 should give Bastion a try. It's fun, hard, beautiful (visually and audibly), has character and player skill progression, and is amazingly engrossing (thanks to the narrator).

Who did you play first? I just started with the Heavy Bolter guy...activating his bullet stream special feels awesome. I played the demo co-op as the librarian too, he was a lot of fun. 40K space...

Alien Frontiers is great! Been ignoring it until someone brought to a gameday I hosted and made me play it. Looks amazing in person and the spaceships placement mechanic is a lot of fun.
