Re: The Book of Crossbones (Breathing Period)

I'm not sure a potential -1D is worthy enough to build an army around. Sure he'd be good with Cap and StarLord, but anyone is. I'm fine either way here. Number for simplicity, or dice rolled for...

Re: The Book of Crossbones (Breathing Period)

Keep in mind that we're looking at a situational -1 in defense. Sure it's nice, but hardly a game breaker. Not sure the CRB is needed any more than usual.

Re: The Book of Crossbones (Breathing Period)

Honestly, why would he get this boost against anyone with Super Strength?
That'd be the simplest way to keep GLs and their ilk out of it.[/QUOTE]

Yeah, Hela and Lady Death both have 4 attack....

I mean, I've played those few figures I mentioned boat loads of times, so I totally understand playing what you like and are familiar with! :p

Re: What Board Games Will You Be Purchasing?

Rebellion is one of my all time favorites. It nails the merger of theme and mechanics high perfectly.

Running missions is so much fun, and having the massive space battles led by the heroes is...

Re: The Book of Lady Death

Good call!

Otherwise any sort of female sword wielder would work. Asgardians are good choices, which is why I picked her here. Any other Valkyrie figure would work too.

Re: Lobster's Public Design Workshop

Im not sure you can have a cheap generalist leader without them being too powerful. Zemo is pushing that line for his utility and ability to shut down enemy figures for protection. I get wanting...

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?

I just saw they did that. Pretty weird. If you didn't know season 1 was based off of a comic of the same name. I actually preferred the comic's story, since the boy (don't remember names) was quite a...

Re: Kickstarter: What game(s) are you currently Kickstarting

Well, Gloomhaven is definitely worth it. You can probably find it retail for less than what it was originally on Kickstarter now though. Or maybe Amazon.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but if you're only catching wind of it now, you're in for an electric good time!

Re: Kickstarter: What game(s) are you currently Kickstarting

Invader definitely looked cool. I liked that spin on Zombicide and really considered it. But I talked myself out of it and got Death May Die instead. Which still hasn't showed up.

Re: Justice League Dark Brainstorming

Mystical Protection is a variation of Vigilante Protection, and another protection that in testing right now, so I kind of like it separate for that reason.

As for the spells, we could see if they...

Re: Project: Paper Standees

I've considered working on a project like this for C3G. I don't have a ton of photoshop skill or time though, so it's always been on the backburner.

Good luck though, I think this is fantastic.

Yeah, I'm not sure I ever played it that they get LEAs. Granted it's been a while since I've played Phoenix. I'm good with Helm's update.

Re: Justice League Dark Brainstorming

I really like that, not knowing the character at all. 4 powers is a lot, but it works.

Id limit the spells to just common ones maybe, that would cut down on too powerful ones.
