Re: The Book of Phoenix Force

I got mine off the grey thing by running an Xacto Knife around the edges, heating the point of contact between the two plastics with a heat gun, and then pulling the thing apart with my super robot...

Re: The Book of Optimus Prime

Since tagging you doesn't always work...

Quick question for you. There are two Comic Art cards in the OP...is one of them Marvel art or are they both IDW art. Just curious and I knew you would...

Re: C3G Playtesting Sign-Ups – Seeking New Testers!

Ja, it takes three meatbags to be the equal of one robot.

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout

Actually you can still go see Shazam as long as you can open the secret door. Every movie theater has one.

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout

Well if Cats somehow gets Disney to stop making terrible live action remakes then I guess I can put up with the utter terror it instills in me.

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout

That trailer is even more nightmarish in theaters.

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout

I thought Black Panther was decent. I personally enjoyed it being less borderline slapstick comedy than most MCU movies. It falls into the same trap as Aquaman/ Namor stuff tends to though, where you...

Re: The Book of Amanda Waller

That’s a pretty significant change really. Like with the current version, at least if Waller gets assassinated early on or something you get loyal troops as a consolation. With a ‘for the rest of the...

Re: The Book of Amanda Waller

As written the power is completely shut off when she dies. There’s nothing innate about markers that make things automatically persist after a figure dies. There’s also nothing innate about them that...

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout

Well in fairness the Ant thing I did had nothing to do with his personal tiny weakness. You can screw over any melee dude on a hill by surrounding them with Ants in heat of battle becuase height one...

Re: The C3G Cave - Hangout

I still feel really bad about that one time I just locked your Satanus on a hill where he couldn’t do anything Tornado. That was a dick move on my part.

Re: The Book of Chucky (Charles Lee Ray)

Huh, I’m almost positive he had some ‘I don’t engage people’ bit in there last I saw him. Yeah, that need to be looked at. My bad guys.

Re: C3G Playtesting Sign-Ups – Seeking New Testers!

Because I am incapable of designing things that are not either Agent or Shadow themed, Nightshade is now here for the testing and such!

Re: Public Design Workshop

Actually I think the term they're really going for here is 'gamey' That's when something has a mechanical effect without correlation to any theme (as defined by whoever is saying it).

Re: The Book of General Zod

Slight preference for B

It's the better version for fights with Superman and other big heavy hitter types, and it seems like that's thematic match-up here.

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)

I really love the idea actually.

Oh! Other dude can be Aaron Cash! Same name and good synergy to boot!

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)

Awesome  Hurt is pretty strong competitive wise, but probably fine with his stat line. Big thing would be to test him with healing and other protection kinda powers. Not sure there's anything out...

Re: The Book of Optimus Prime

I mean, I'm like a Hero or whatnot now. I'm not going to let the astrotrain stop rolling when we still have several hundred Japanese DVD set exclusive Minicons we could make cards for.

Re: Public Design Workshop

I've no idea who the hell this is, but regardless of thematic concerns, I'm pretty much a hard nay on the design as it stands mechanically. The first power is just too much IMO. I'd need to know a...

Re: The Book of General Zod

I'm down with that version with some wording to prevent double activations of the same figure added in. Also fine with Zod getting to pick himself for the first bullet, don't really think that needs...
