Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
Any Dwarf build should do the trick, dwarves are extremly good against big heroes and the bonding Dwarf heroes are also very good against high defense heroes. Darrack can do big damage for small...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
You should try Atlaga with them. He gives a nice ranged support and the movement buff is huge because it really helps the Minions to get height and have those 3 attacks dices.
And for the last 80...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
It's really strong, Azurite helps a lot against Romans counters.
I prefer to take one of two turn to place Marcus in a good spot especially if you're playing against melee.
So would something...

#1 is more strong and more synergic.
10th against melee
PKs against range
Eltahale against special attackers (Majors Dragons etc...) and to add some special if needed (against Mezzos for...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
Yes your army can work hard time against special attacks tho.
My favorites picks with Cutters:
Zelrig: force ennemies to spread up so mob attack becomes huge. The cutters also protect zelrig...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
Any cheap common squad will will the long run against Minions that's why there's Red Wyrmlings in the Army.
The Orcs with Grimnak will own this army if you play Grimnak decently and not expose him...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
Here we are, great army.
I think Raelin is better choice than Finn here, but Finn can still works if you play very aggressive with him in early game.
Marro Warriors + Eldgrim is also a good option...

Strong do not meant no fun. I hate when people say this.
It's strong therefore it's not fun or it's weak therefore it's fun... *facepalm* No please no.
A Hydra boosted by Finn spirit is way more...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
Running Gilbert AND Denrick with only 8 knights is an enourmous mistake to me. Don't run this build.
Even Gilbert alone is not very worth it with only 2 squads of knights.
A Finn build would be...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
It looks good, the 10th/zombies may have too many figures compared to the others tho. Also it's not an army I would give to a beginner.
Make one 10th reg army and one zombie army, much more fun.

Hi Umbra Atlas.
Your army is very good, in fact the Knights+Gilbert+4th is a classic in competitive play, very strong offensive and defensive, no need to be near to each other to be effective and a...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
It's good, way better on a battlefield with a lot of level variancy (steep terrain, cliffs...) than on a flat battlefield tho.
Road may hurt you a lot too.
Make the right choice of who will go...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
This army is very AE dependant, I hope for you that they will drop quickly. ;) Beside this kind of randomness, it's a great army.
I don't think Eltahale is great AE counter, the AE just have to...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
Great and fun army, but need a bit of experience because OM mangement is not that easy.
In the same idea I prefer:
3xRomans 150
Marcus 100
2x10th Reg 150
This is 400 points then fill with:...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
Good luck.
It's not bad versus heroes but I don't think this army has any chance against any heavy-common build.
The OM management will be very tricky, you'll have to spend markers on Ana AND...

Focusing too much on synergies and auras and forgetting the firepower of the army is a classic mistake for those who starts HS strategy.

1 and 2: Really bad, not enough Blades for that many heroes.
3 and 4: Those are the two best Brunak+Ornak+Blades (I assume you want this) you can get, I 've a little preference for 3 because Nerak...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
Sujoah is one of the less cost efficient figures imo.
I prefer this:
1x Wyvern 100
Estivara 80
5x Fyorlag Spiders 200
Kravs Maga / 2nd Wyvern 100
Marcu 20
500points/ 21 or 22 hexes

Quite a solid build, personnally I prefer Morgrimm than Valguard+Isamu.
Moreover the Romans's weakness is not the common squads but more heroes with special attacks like Zelrig, Nilfheim etc...But...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
Do you think this can be competitive?
TBR Rise Again
Tul-Bak-Ra 130
4x Havech Eradicators 360
Isamu 10
500points/14hexs
Do you think it can do better than the classic Drones+TBR combo?
