Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
I used this army plus Concan in a 650-point match recently, versus Cyprien, Phantoms x2 and a bunch of Zombies. I love having the vikings as primary bonding targets; Finn has the same attack aura as...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
Well if you're playing just 10 points higher of a point total (at 510), Q9 is just as good - or even better - a solution. That said, any time I draft Q9, I feel the urge to punch myself in the nose...

Re: Screw it, I'm Playing Roman Archers
I can agree with the bolded statement 100%! I can't find my armies notebook right now (yes, some of us old folks still track data with pen and paper!), but a year or two ago I tested an army that...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
Q10 is pretty freakin' awesome, but I don't think even he can knock the stink off the Groks. The only time I've used them without being disappointed - well, at least not totally disappointed - was...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
Personally, I'd drop Tornak and the Heavies for Grimnak and Nerak. Three squads of Blades is still a good force, and with Nerak along for the ride, they might just live through some ranged attacks. ...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
Even more so than what's been stated above, my real difficulty when using this army has been how slow it really is. Keeping a pod would be ideal, but unless you've already moved your excess Minions...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
I've used this exact army a handful of times, and as capsocrates stated above, it's really hard to pull off. The real problem lies in the melee-core; that is, the Marro Warriors can do their...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
"Rats" are the Deathreavers, who are sometimes also referred to as "Roborats".
As for the army...the EOV are a fun unit which almost always leave me wishing they'd killed their fair share. You'd...

Re: The Army Advice and Feedback Thread
The Rechets are sort of redundant with Cyprien. Also, I think it should have Sonya. I'd say to dump Iskra, Rechets, & Isamu for Sonya and more Zombies. Sonya-boosted Cyp can take down range, and that...

Re: The Army Judging Thread
I love the Rats/Bugbears pairing; should be fun (for you:lol:). I'd personally drop Moltenclaw and the Raider for Nilfeheim. His special attack is just as good, and he'll live a bit longer.

Re: The Army Judging Thread
I've tried army#1 before, and I think next time I'll use Cyprien instead of Dupuis. He's more mobile and will last longer. True, he doesn't have quite the same punch as Dupuis when it comes to...

Re: The Army Judging Thread
Unless the d20 bonus is super important to you, I would drop SBN. His seven attack dice are great for killing heroes, but so are the Marro Stingers. For SBN's 160 points you could work in Torin and...

Re: The Army Judging Thread
I've used that one before. It's not bad.....unless you have my luck defending with Deathwalkers.
My preferred 'tron army is:
G'trons x2
B'trons x2
Braxas
Otonashi 500 / 19
Braxas...

Re: The Army Judging Thread
I'm assuming the former is intended to play in an all-hero format; if so, hey man that looks pretty fun (and might even put up a good fight)!
In the second, both Syvarris and Brandis toghether -...

Re: The Army Judging Thread
All of the above suggestions are pretty good, but really the closer you get it to Marcus/Legos/10th (and usually another bonding hero), the more efficient it becomes.
Bottom line - Einar soldier...

Re: The Army Judging Thread
I like the second one more. More common squaddies, a good late-game unit in the Marro Warriors, and Army#1 having both Awasome and Heirloom seems a bit redundant and not the best use of remaining...
