Re: The Book of Super Soldier (Breathing)

I'm strongly in favour of Soldier, and am not bothered either way on Heat Vision. I think it's okay to extrapolate a bit with these characters, and it's kind of cool for a Cap/Superman mix to have a...

Re: The Book of Super Soldier (Breathing)

Re: The Book of Super Soldier (Breathing)

I'm with Odysseus here - Leader doesn't feel right to me, he's not that Leader-y and it honestly usually feels like a 'well, we can't think of anything better' class, given the number of leaders who...

Re: Public Design Workshop

Would love to see more MK stuff! :) Not 100% certain on Operative vs Soldier for Sonya, but I'd love to see someone tackle her.

Re: The Book of Super Soldier (Breathing)

I absolutely get what you're saying, and I agree to a degree, but allow me to counterpoint.
Firstly, this wouldn't be the first time we've done this - we effectively did it with 2000AD, because,...

Re: The Book of Super Soldier (Breathing)

Any thoughts on my Metamutate suggestion?

It's a bit of a cheat/extrapolation, but what about Metamutate? It might not technically exist as a designation, but if 'born with superpowers' ...

Re: The Book of Super Soldier (Breathing)

How about something like this:

MAN OF WAR
If there is a revealed Order Marker on this card:

When Super Soldier attacks, all blanks rolled count as extra skulls;
If a Soldier within 6 clear...

Re: Public Design Workshop

Making it a bit strong might not be the worst idea, honestly - it's going to take some difficulty to pull off consistently.

It's a bit of a cheat/extrapolation, but what about Metamutate? It might not technically exist as a designation, but if 'born with superpowers' people are Metamutants in Amalgam, it makes sense as...

Re: The Book of Super Soldier (Breathing)

It's a little odd to me that a mix of Cap and Superman has no inspirational powers. I'd have thought that'd be a shoe-in.
That being said, blanks as skulls is a fun idea as a Superman mirror.
