Generally glyph wise, it should be things with a small boost (+1 attack/defense and such). Having glyphs like Erland or Mitonsoul should be avoided.

I agree. As long as there isn't a tactile advantage to any one side then I don't see a problem. (For instance don't give one side height and leave the other flat.
