Re: The Book of Ultron Drones - Breathing Period

I'm not a fan of Adamanteum Tough here - Adamanteum is rare, and I remember Ronin mentioning that the drones were specifically not made out of the stuff. Feels like it cheapens Adamanteum...

Re: The Book of Domino

It would be my preference that the other one get put in the spoiler tag, for the reasons I've discussed earlier in this thread.

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)

I don't know the character, but that looks great. :)
I hope you guys manage to get this Bionicle stuff off the ground. I hope most of the stuff in this thread goes somewhere, actually.

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)

I agree - the Heroscape ruleset wasn't designed for Superheroes either, and to that we've added... what? Secret Identities, Event Heroes, Equipment Glyphs and some optional rules? (Note... optional.)...

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)

I'd be in favour of something like that, if we felt it necessary to get the worlds across. I know there's one setting I'm planning to add to the game for my personal customs at some stage that'll...

Re: C3G Dredd'verse workshop

I'm in favour.

I'd like more variety than that, but it's a good start. I also like the idea of picking some names from that comic panel of a Scourge gunning down small-time villains posted...

Re: C3G Dredd'verse workshop

Hmm.... you're exploiting my desire for more filler heroes now... well done, I'm in favour! :)

Re: C3G Dredd'verse workshop

He looks fine, but while I'm normally in favour of weird, niche characters, I'm less blown over by a one-time-appearance character who doesn't appear to engage in combat in any way, shape or form,...

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)

Based on their appearance, they look it to me - you can usually tell the difference between pre-painted and hand-painted.

Re: The Book of Durham Red - Vote 4 Initial

If the vote's still relevant, I vote A. A bit more convoluted, maybe, but it feels both more thematic and more tactically interesting.

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)

Okay, I have 0 personal interest in Anime, but those figures look great. :) I'm fully in favour.

Re: The Book of Taskmaster (Final Editing)

Odd thought, how do the maths change if you drop him to 2 defence?

~Lazy Orang, who agrees with Mr.Nobody's train of thought, but is just trying to look at this from multiple angles.

Re: The Book of Taskmaster (Final Editing)

Maybe just a couple of heavy hitters of this guy + friend vs. Thor or someone would be enough?

Re: The Book of Taskmaster (Final Editing)

This. Exactly this.
When stupid levels of agility and prediction get involved, what sort of hits you should be taking become less relevant.

Yep - edge cases exist.

Re: Poll: Favorite C3G Design by LD: Arkham

Sub-Zero - possibly my favourite Kombatant, his combination of powers is ludicrously fun and strategic.
Drax (vII) - My Mum played him on my birthday in a 3-player game and he was an absolute...

Re: The Book of Taskmaster (Final Editing)

Bear in mind some of Cap's value is bound up in his amazing leadership, which Taskmaster doesn't possess.

Re: Public Design Workshop

Well, in my first attempt to play Gauntlet Thanos with my family, they ganged up on him until he was dead and I achieved almost nothing - never even snapped. :) I think they were just a little bit...

Re: Public Design Workshop

Well, that tends not to be strategically useful, so unless there's someone the people there just don't like it tends not to happen - I'd have thought, anyway.
Now an alliance against the winning...

Re: Public Design Workshop

In my book? Information sharing is part of war, so yes. I'd even say that you could do so if you weren't team-mates but it's instead a free-for-all - of course, misinformation is also a valid...

Re: Are there Disney Gargoyles Customs?

Yep - in production is more like it. The first Gargoyle is just about ready - the main clan isn't close to being ready to release.
Just watch out for them in the Playtesting Sign-Up thread! :)...
