I'd worry that takes them from being a complement to the Elite League Assassins that can also help Ra's/Assassin armies gel a bit better to just being unplayable without the Elite League Assassins...

Yeah, given that, not sure there's a good way to get these guys to play nicely with Ra's that isn't terribly inelegant. Or at least not a way that I like better than what's in the SP.
