TURTLE POWER
After revealing an Order Marker on this card and taking a turn with Leonardo, you may choose up to three other Ninja Turtles you control. One at a time, remove an unrevealed Order Marker from each of the chosen figures' Army Cards to take an immediate turn with that figure. Figures taking a turn with Turtle Power add 1 to their Attack number for that turn.

NINJA FOCUS 1
When you roll the 20-sided die for a Ninja you control, you may add or subtract 1 from the roll.

DOUBLE ATTACK
When Leonardo attacks, he may attack one additional time.

STEALTH LEAP 12
Instead of his normal move, Leonardo may move up to 3 spaces with Stealth Leap. When moving with Stealth Leap, Leonardo has the Flying special power, but may not move up or down more than 12 levels in a single leap, and will not take any leaving engagement attacks when he starts to leap.

Re: The Book of Leonardo - Design Phase

So you can reveal the X OM and use it as a numbered OM then? I suspect his points will be going up if you get to take 4 turns before your opponent gets to take even 1, and some of those turns have a double attack. You could potentially kill off whatever cards have OMs on them that round before any turns are taken. I like the idea though, so maybe a only once per game instead of an every round power.

Re: The Book of Leonardo - Design Phase

Yeah, it's similar to Deathbird but with the potential of more attacks. Points are a wild guess right now.

Re: The Book of Leonardo - Design Phase

As long as you're OK with the points going up, I'm OK with the direction. You still won't be getting as many turns per round as, say, Professor X or (on average) Mister Fantastic. You'll just be getting them sooner.

Really cool, looks like a fun way to pull the faction together!

I assume Turtle Power is supposed to only work on your figures though? Currently, it doesn't say "you control" and could be misread. Should probably be:

Re: The Book of Leonardo - Design Phase

Definitely should have "you control" in there. Why would we need "remove" though?

It's just how we've been doing it on more recent cards.

I love Turtle Power, and he's simple otherwise, so big  from me.

Re: The Book of Leonardo - Design Phase

Question for Turtle Power:

I assume the intent is that you reveal and remove the order markers much as you would for a regular turn, you can just "jump the gun" a bit. If this is the case, you might need to use some "one at a time" nomenclature.

And if that reading is right, Raphael is going to be rolling the d20 a lot... Which might make an annoying power extra annoying. Maybe thematic, but annoying.

Also, is the intent of the power that you can have a max of 3 additional turns with 3 different figures? Or could I, say, take 3 turns with Mikey if I have 3 OMs on him?

IAmBatman December 2nd, 2015 06:47 PM

Re: The Book of Leonardo - Design Phase

Sure, but you can also choose not to activate Raphael if that's a problem. You won't have your four turns at once that way, but you can always save OM2 for later and only use three turns on OM1.

Re: The Book of Leonardo - Design Phase

Raph's power happens whether he's activated or not. I'll look into how to word this as I'd rather him only roll for it on Leo's turn, not anyone else who gets activated by Turtle Power.
