Michigan Sping Blitz!! - March 12, 2011
 

The votes are in and the Next Michigan Tournament is as follows:

DATE: SAT. MARCH 12, 2011

WHERE: BC Comix in Fenton, MI.

WHEN: 12 NOON (store usually opens at 11 am for set-up)

Entry Fee: $5.00 and prize for the table if you can.

Army(s) Details/Format:

2 vs 2 tourney

Armies: 325pt per player, 30-hex armies per team.

Rules:

* Partners should be decided before Tourney Day.

* Turns taken "butterfly" style if your partner is on the same side of the table as you.

* One unique unit per tag team. (I.E. you and your partner can't BOTH use Thorgimm.)

*30 starting spaces per team (not 15 per player, if you're going solo with a random teammate you might not want to exceed 16 spaces though)

*allowed is a 25pt overlap per team, so one person can have up to 350pts and the other person can have 300 pts, but the team total cannot be more than 650pts between them.

{Each map will have 4 Treasure Glyphs and it's own special trap. Traps will be based on the terrain of the map. Traps will be listed later.}

The Treasure Pool will be the following 10 Glyphs:

* Brandar's Chest represents an empty Treasure chest and has no value in the game. Once revealed it can be removed from the game.

Do you have any maps in ind if we do 2v2. Digan has some really nice multiplayer maps but they're 28 start spaces each.

I have not thought that far ahead...I want to judge everyone's thoughts first before I look at maps.

Excellent and thank you! Our crew is ready for some more scape.

If you could, please try to get some potential dates as soon as possible. Our weekends are getting jammed up already, the date is more important than the format.

We voted for 2v2 and Generals Alliance, in that order. However, you can consider Pick your Poison as tied for second as far as we are concerned.

Although the draft idea sounded fun, I would rather have predetermined armies so that the actual combat time is closer to 50 minutes.

2v2 would be my first pick as long as we can find some good maps to use. I also wouldn't mind Pick your Poison or Generals' Alliance.

I just do not want to do Draft.

Looking forward to playing again. I know that the first two weekends in April are no good for me, but whatever is good for the masses. Chose 2v2 and Generals.

The February or March dates are good for me. The April dates are definitely out as I will be somewhere much warmer, sandier, and beachier than Michigan. Also, Saturdays are better.

Low, because my calander fills up quickly. ;)

But if we have one earlier then I could see another in May or early June. If later then the next would probally be late June to early July (GenCon prep).

The only dates that work for us are March 12 or 13.

We will be out of town the other dates.
