Character Bio - A mutant, Iceman has the ability of cryokinesis where he can freeze anything around him and can also turn his body into living ice. Although he is an Omega-level mutant, Drake has yet to tap his full mutant potential. He has, however, begun to take more interest over the years in developing his abilities.

• Iceman gains his Ice Resistance defense bonus while standing on snow or ice tiles. Figures that create these spaces - such as Icicle - can be useful additions to any Army he's included in.
• As a figure with the Ice Resistance special power, Iceman may benefit from Ice Rock's, Ice Hill's, and Ice Glacier's Glacial Healing special power and Ice Mountain's Glacial Mountain Healing special power.

DEEP FREEZE SPECIAL ATTACK
Range 4. Attack 5.
If an opponent's Unique Hero receives at least one wound from Deep Freeze Special Attack, roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 16 or higher, you may remove one unrevealed Order Marker at random from that Unique Hero's Army Card. When Iceman uses his Deep Freeze Special Attack to attack a figure with the Ice Resistance special power, roll one fewer attack die.

ICE RESISTANCE
Slippery Ice and Heavy Snow only count as 1 space when moving. Add 1 to Iceman's defense while on an ice or snow space.

ICE SLIDE 4
Instead of his normal move, Iceman may move up to 4 spaces with Ice Slide. When moving with Ice Slide, Iceman has the Flying special power, but may not move up or down more than 20 levels in a single slide and cannot slide over molten lava.



I like Ice Man having the resistance to snow and ice, that is cool.
Ice slide having a move of 4 is nice too, because normally he will be able to move 5, but this way he will be able to avoid certain elevations, so there is a trade off which is what miniature gaming needs in my opinion.

OK, sounds like we have enough people in favor of the proposed Iceman changes to go ahead with an adjustment to Ice Slide to be a move of 4 and changing Ice Sheet to Ice Resistance.

Well, I agree with Whitestuff who previously posted that he didn't understand why he would be slowed. While I understand the difference if elevations are involved, but what if they aren't shouldn't ice slide be at least as fast as walking across flat terrain?

It's a valid point, but I think the changes to include Ice Resistance really only work with that difference in move.
Also, I like him having the tactical choice between moving on his feet or moving through Ice Slide.

Ice Slide looks good.
We still need discussion on his personality. I still favor "Daring".
I'll get the wording for Ice Resistance and put that and your updates in the first post, Necro. Good job. :-)
