Actually you've got DC's definition of Metahuman confused with Marvel's definition of Mutate there. Metahumans are a combination of Mutants and Mutates in that they're otherwise regular members of their species that either are born with their powers (like Mutants) or get them later from an accident (like Mutates). Superman is technically a Metahuman, as is anyone in DC with actual super powers. So it's not an incorrect species, fwiw.

OK, that makes more sense. Thanks for clearing that up Bats. You're the man when it comes to making things clear.

( still should haven been Clone, though)

Well I teach online, so if I can't explain things well in words, I'll be out of a job. :-) Thanks, though.

And Clone was my preference as well, but I didn't think it was worth naying a good design over. Metahuman is still fun to play and accurate enough.

Superman isn't a Metahuman... he's not a human. Superboy would be at least half-human and would likely be qualified as a Metahuman.

We're inconsistent with our use of Clone as a species to say the least.

Ah, touche, I looked it up and it does apply only to Humans (which makes sense given the root words). I had it explained differently to me by Griff once, which confused me. But you're right, Johnny. Metahuman, though, as you say, is still correct.

An additional source for the same figure is Legacy #210 / Connor Kent.
