Dragonborn Death Knight Speculation- D4?
 
So we just got a preview of the two new Death Knights with Unholy Bonding.

If you know anything about D&D Minis there's 3 Death Knights in the whole game, and the third is a Dragonborn Death Knight.

Death Knight #10 from Savage Encounters

I'm willing to bet we're going to be getting a Dragonborn Death Knight Hero with a Relentless personality. Hopefully as early as D4.

No, I don't think we will see this -- it's recently released and they are not introducing any figures more recent than Dungeons of Dread.

What are you talking about? If you just look at the two sets right after Dungeons of Dread, there's the figures for:

Darrak
Rhogar
Erevan
Shurrak
2 Goblin Cutters
Othkurik
Ogre Wahulk
Torin
Mindflayer
1 Drow Warrior
1 Warforged Soldier

I don't think we'll see anything from the post Demonweb sets for a little while. Certainly not by D4 I think.

The DK should be a new figure, as Im hoping most if not all of D4 will be.

I'm of the opinion that a few (3) new sculpts in D3 is a sign that WOTC is willing to spend a little money, but is still in cost saving mode overall. If they get to a point where an entire wave is all original, I think that will be the return of Classic Scape. D waves will still be made as a way to save money while promoting D&D, so I don't think we'll ever see a D wave where every figure is a D&D creature that has never before appeared as a DDM mini.

I do hope that what happens in D4 is that maybe they can make better squads by, say, taking 2 good looking sculpts of something and then making a third original sculpt.

For example, there is a Xeph Soulknife and a Soulknife Infiltrator. Repaint the Infiltrator to be more like a Xeph, if possible, and then make a new original Xeph Soulknife. Then we could get a squad of Xeph soulknifes. A new race and a new psionic class.

Has D4 even been hinted at or announced as of yet? I haven't seen or heard anything.
