Is it clear one way or another whether a figure can climb on and stand on, say, the Sports Car VDO?

Not really but I suppose we could add that in the description.

I mean, they have height and they don't cause engagement, so they can definitely be climbed over. But in terms of occupying their spaces (like standing on top of them) it's unclear.

Re: The Book of Draftable Vehicle Rules - Final Editing

OK, here's where I arrived after edits. I kept the bolded line in as clarification for situations such as with Blob, Jean Grey, Graviton, etc. where an individual figure could be stopped from moving when the car wasn't. I thought it had the potential to be commonplace enough to just be in the rules. Please let me know if you see anything else!

I trimmed where I could. The standing on top of the VDO rules have been retained for now at least, since there seemed to be mixed feelings on cutting them.

Not sure how to better clarify that other rules for VDOs and DOs outside of this can exist, but I think it's fair to focus on what these rules are actually about, not what they're not about.

Revision below:

Spoiler Alert!

I'm confused how the bolded section is supposed to work. The only thing I can imagine is that if Blob is inside the vehicle. But I don't think that should stop the vehicle from moving.

If you're in a partial cover vehicle, a lot of this could happen, actually.

Blob being the passenger and getting moved by an enemy would be one trigger (they cannot move Blob, so what happens if they try to move the vehicle? Either Blob weighs them down and they can't move the vehicle or we have to figure out what happens to Blob when the vehicle moves but he doesn't).

Another trigger could be Jean Grey or Graviton on the outside when the car moves. Jean could target the vehicle for it, but since it's partial cover, she could also target each passenger inside the vehicle, as they're all moving at the same time. If she hits any of the rolls, the affected passenger can't move. So if the car keeps moving, what happens to them?

We'd either need to come up with a mechanic for that figure having a forced exit or just go with the bolded ruling. I felt like the bolded ruling was the cleanest and kind of like the theme of Blob holding the car in place anyway.

Cool. I've got a busy day, so I'll let this cool for a bit, but I'm hoping we're about to the point where we can hand this over to Art. :-)

You've got "Page 2:" at the beginning and "Page 3:" before occupying vehicles. Wouldn't want those to get copy/pasted to the rulebook.

I'll fix that in a bit here, thanks.
