Let's not forget that her father raised her in what was basically a library, if memory serves.
She had a lot of knowledge about pre-cataclysm technology, such as helicopters. |

She throws magic balls which could be simply represented as normal range attack She has levitated allies She has healed members who have no order markers She has created magical bridges |

It's going to be a challenge. You're right that her magic attacks are best represented by a normal attack.

Anything that makes her work better with Thundarr and Ookla would also be cool.
Some sort of team defensive power representing shield magic. Maybe a binding power that stops attacks. The bridge power would be cool but that may be hard to translate. |

That is an awesome draft.
My reactionary input would be asking why Aquilla over Ullar as it seems we have more focus pocus type stuff over there. Stats look good and in line for most magic slingers. The abilities seem like theyd be fun. Wording on the magic rings looks like it could use tweaking, but I like the idea of still allowing movement but stopping an attack. |

Thanks. A bit difficult for me to shift back to classic meta. Had to use some restraint on the stats.
Open to any other suggestions, lots of possibilities. Ookla and Thundarr are Aquilla so it would be weird for her to be anything else. Could make her power hooks based on Aquilla instead of Barbarian and Gladiator. Not sure how that shakes out either way. |

Power Grab
I don't see energy rings as a breaking power. It costs an X order marker which is a decent resource but she herself is real fragile and real vulnerable to squads being a single attacker. The ability might be a bit more powerful in the endgame but you really shouldn't leave her until full health at endgame.

I might suggest bringing it down to 4 because range of 5 affects a ton of spaces and will be nullifying a lot of stuff like lava. Just something to bring her a bit closer to the action maybe. I almost prefer it focusing on Glads/Barbs, makes more sense for what I'm seeing in ye old cartoon. For an X order marker, I'm down for this ability. |

I like it all, especially Energy Rings. I like 5 spaces for the bridge power but I understand why you think it should be 4. It might be more thematic for it to affect all Aquilla characters, possibly small or medium. I don't see why it should affect Capuan Gladiators, unless it is generalized to apply to all figures you control.
As for her ability to shoot energy as an attack, that's handled by her Range and Attack stats, just like it is for Iron Man. |

Energy Rings would just end the turn of a single figure so if used on say the first Stinger to attack the other two would still get to attack or not?
For bonding, ending one figure's turn would not end the bonding correct? |

Personally I think her bridge should affect all friendly figures. Been many years since I have seen the cartoon but I seem to recall her using her magic to help others not just Thundarr and Ookla

Just some more food for thought, I did see a bit on you tube where she used her magic to become invisible, though this may have been a one time thing.
