Question about changing thread titles.
 

I have a pretty big map thread in the maps and scenarios section. I recently added some new maps, which I then wanted to advertise in my title (As I normally have done). I went in to edit it, went advance, changed the title, even put a reason I made the edit. So I saved it up and went to do some other surfing around the site. After a few minutes, I went back to the maps and scenarios area, only to see my thread is still titled the way it was previously. I clicked on my thread, and the title was changed for the first post, but the link title in the forum is still reading the old title. Am I doing something wrong? Is there now no way to change the actually link title? Sorry if this has been asked already, I couldn't find anything about this anywhere.

I believe there is no way for regular users to change the actual thread title. It is a moderator option though. This has advantages and disadvantages. I do not believe there is a way to grant this option to normal users.

UPDATE: Everyone should be able to edit thread titles now.
