Looking for a game of online Heroscape? Use this thread to request a game, or find other people already looking for one.

How this works:
Keep requests simple and to the point.

-Include when you want to play.
Specify day, how long you're available for, and time zone.
"I would like to play today (Dec 4). I'm available anytime before 7:30pm EST"
"I'm free for a game this tuesday (Dec. 6) between 3:00 and 8:00 mountain time"

-List any special requests.
*specific maps you're interested in playing (or perhaps NOT playing)
*etc. etc. Try to keep it simple.

-When looking for a match:
-Be sure to check all the posts carefully! We don't want to leave a fellow 'scaper hanging!
-Please try to resolve existing match requests rather then starting new ones!

Lets get the ball rolling shall we?

I might be able to do a game this Sunday and can do it through Skype or PM, and can start at anytime between 1:00-4:00. The Map will be Montiqua Ledge and will follow the scenario involving floodwaters from the book. Please PM me two hours before you want to start the game. Lastly, pick armies of 620 points. Classic, C3V, C3G, SoV, HoSS, and and any figures passed by CHCG24 are allowed.

Because either I am a blind idiot or I'm just blind I just found out about this thread.

Either way...
I'm usually open for a very casual game on Sundays from noon to 6PM Eastern Time (for example, RL pending, I'm open this Sunday...and the following one). I'm open to dang near any custom you can think of (as long as it is reasonably balanced...heck it can be completely unbalanced, who cares ;)).

I usually just use facebook, but I can use another chat site at your discretion, just no Skype stuff or that google thingy.

Zap me a PM if your ever up for match. :)

In above, replace squiggle brackets {} with regular brackets []

Easier way is type a link text, hilight it, then press the globe link button http://www.heroscapers.com/community...createlink.gif and paste the web link.

bold for tldr

Noob looking for game with patient teacher. I know the very basics, and while I'll be awkward with the synergies, and strategies of the master game, I'll be capable.
I really want to up my awareness of things like threat zone, etc.

I'm a thirty something guy, so maturity is not an issue. Would rather not play with youths; the situation just borders on creepy, so I'd rather avoid it.

Long history of PnP RPG, and other online gaming.

8-10:30pm EST w/ hard stop @10:45.

Start time depends on my kids' bedtime, so some flex is needed.

I have RotV, SotM, BftU, FotAx2

I don't have any expansions, so playing competetive style with multiple squads is not an option. OOTB scenarios might be a good idea.
I'll try and set up a webcam or two.
Can use Skype, yahoo, vent. I can leave the game setup between sessions, if the game doesnt end within the play time.

Good question. I think if this thread was advertized a little more, it might draw a few more players. But there's not really any other organized way to hunt people down. :(

Count me in for a game; please send me a PM about your availability, what map you want to use, and your suggested points for the game (I recommend a lower points game for the first match...around 350 - 400 points). We can then set up a google doc and get you squared away in regards to the online tools.

I also recommend reading this post, as it contains specific instructions for online play.

Several people play in the league without actually setting up a physical build. I have set up a physical build for 5 of my 6 games, but I didn't have any trouble in the one where I didn't.

Is there enought to love about the game without the terrain and minis?

The tactile nature of the game is a nice break from the computer.

There's enough to love without the minis. Not that I don't love the minis, but I love the gameplay even more. Of course, like I said, I usually set up the board before I play the game, although I usually don't keep up with moving the figures around as the game progresses.

So, are you game to give the league a go?

Hey, Boromir. I am up for a game later this week, if you want, generally any time after 5 PM CST. I have created the map (available here: just send me your google ID and I can add you to the document); to speed things up, I pre-picked a 500 point army (its on the google doc; here is the figure master template), so please let me know what you want to field, as well as a good time to play it out.

I got my boosters from miniature market today. Once work calms down, I'll be requesting Skype games again.

This whole thing looks interesting! I would definately like to try this..... however, my wife just had her tonsils removed, and thus I must take care of her. However, since I was recently laid off and currently work PT for the time being, I would give this a shot in about two weeks if there is anyone that still does this. One thing... I don't do skype, can't do phone calls, and I do not have AIM or any other instant messenger... will that be a problem?

Not a problem. The games can be played completely by the chat/dice roller app and the Google Doc. Just post when you are ready to play, and we can set up a game.

I'm gonna sound like a liar(based on previous post), but the wife just gave me time to play today. Anyone interested please pm me asap. I have about a 3-4 hour window starting now. I currently have Ticalla Jungle built on my table from a game night a few days ago (I can deconstruct it to put up a diff map, but I don't prefer doing that)

I'm free to play between 9 AM to 12 PM CST on Mondays and Wednesdays, and almost every night around 8 PM CST.

I can play via Filthy's HeroSkype App and Google Docs.

PM me whenever you'd like to play, and when you are ready to resume a game.

Now that i looked through several topics, I want to find someone to play with! I usually can spend some time on weekends, or after work at 18:00 (6.00 pm) CET.

Just PM me to set a certain time!
HeroSkype app would be perfect! Also got Skype, if you're not using the app, or we communicate via PM.

For the maps, I own every terrain set exept VW.

Anyone that can start in the next half hour or so I can play. I have everything set up, 500 point deathmatch on elswin plateau.

EDIT: I have until 6 to get a match in, then I have to be leave.

EDIT EDIT: No one showed, so I still have the board ready if anyone is interested sometime tonight or tomorrow.
